Please note, this is not a piece of safety equipment. It is constructed to re-position a seat belt for the wearer's comfort and potentially mitigate low levels of impact stress, not manage the stress of an impact at speed.The adjuster works to re-position the shoulder portion of a seat belt closer to the wearer's navel, thus angling the belt away from the neck and onto the shoulder. The material is a combination of mesh covering for the appearance of air flow, a more stout inner sleeve for protection, and thicker material for reinforcement. A plastic snap provides a way to keep the cover in place between uses.The cover is not perfect. The plastic snap is too weak to stay fastened during normal use. If it is not fastened after unbuckling, the cover will need to be readjusted since the seat belt's automatic tensioner will pull the belt through the buckle tongue. My covers have also developed accordion folds, resulting from the tensioner pulling the buckle tongue against the cover's end.A stronger snap, and reinforcement to guard against the accordion folding would make for a better product and higher rating.

I'm a rather short driver and even with the seatbelt and seat adjusted all the way, the belt doesn't fit properly for me to not be rubbed in the neck and chest by the edge of the seatbelt. I bought this for the comfort and benefit of not being distracted by a poorly fitted seatbelt. Since they're so easy to install, I bring them with me when I must drive a family member's car. My only complaints are that sometimes the actual buckle disappears into the edge of the adjuster when the belt retracts, and it isn't super obvious to passengers new to using them that they are removeable or even how to clip themselves in when this happens. The snap that separates the two parts of the seatbelt also sometimes comes undone, and this could probably be fixed by using metal snaps instead of plastic ones that can warp over time. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with them!

Brought this for me cause when I drive, my seat belt rides up to my neck, even with the adjustment for my car with going to the lowest setting. I tried it out and it stays on my shoulders after I put the seat belt adjuster thing.I have not tried it on long rides but hopefully it stays in place. It has snap button to divide it, thought the seat belt wont go through the other opening because the metal thing was to wide but you just have to turn the metal to side ways. I have a Kia Sorento car and I am 4'11.

I’m short and seat belt shoulder straps always lay right against my neck no matter how far down I put the adjustment in the car. I’m always afraid if there is an accident it would cut my neck. With this, I am able to put it on and it keeps the shoulder strap and away from my neck while still providing security. I have to say that I had a difficult time getting my seat belt end through it and had to tip it and wiggle it through, but it also is not so loose that it slips around like other brands have in past years that I had. I was always pulling to adjust, not with this one I’m happy to say. I’m planning on getting a couple more so I don’t have to switch it between vehicles.

Product does what it says it will. I bought this specifically to keep my seat belt from riding up against my neck and it absolutely does that. I did have a minor issue with the stitching coming loose across the top, but 30 seconds and some black thread solved the problem. I haven't had any issues with the snap ... and every now and then the seat belt gets twisted and I need to straighten it out. I find the product to be an excellent value for the price.

I've purchased this model for both my Mom and for a few other friends with similar issues with the seat belt. It pulls the seat belt lower on the body so it is secure but not pulling or leaving an abrasion on the neck area. My only concern is if you leave it on the belt when you get out of the car it does have a tendency to slip free and if you don't notice it it can fall outside the car.

It does exactly what it is supposed to. There is a crinkling sound, but not obnoxious. The snap is firm so hold the material near it to undo it or over time you may damage the material and pull it away from the snap. The opening for the seat belt head is small so it takes a little work to get it thru. I do not mind this as it is reassuring the item won't fall off when I undo the belt. Ordered one to try it out, ordered more after a couple months so I am never without. WORTH IT

I bought this to replace a munchkin seat belt adjuster. This one is made way better. Stronger material and construction. I only wish it had a snap near the seat belt buckle. Because it slips into or out of the adjuster entirely if I’m not watching when retracting/extending the belt. The snap on it is plastic so it isn’t as hearty as metal ones.
