The craftsmanship is awesome but its not a pretty blade, it looks like it wants abuse, smile and keep going. The blade is thick enough to pry or dig with and I know I can rely on it's utility for the rest of my life. The same goes for the horizontal carry sheath, real leather and excellent stitching. This blade although blood grooved is a heavy enough to be used to severe small and large game bones and joints as a chopper likes logs but not so good as a slicer. Get a drop blade knife if you want to slice in my opinion. The blade has a tanto point which is awesome for piercing tough material. The spine is serrated, and has jimping to prevent thumb slip. Grip has excellent fingering and guard. This full tang blade comes with a nice wood scraping feature, a second edge in the blade perfect for stripping bark, making shavings for kindling or a fuzz stick. What is D2 steel, short answer best of both worlds for holding an edge and strength.

This is a really beautiful knife, and sharp as heck. It’s quite heavy and feels well-made and durable. I haven’t chopped anything yet, but it looks like it could handle quite a bit. Well-constructed handle that grips my hand perfectly. Lastly, this sheath is so nice! It’s real leather, thick, stitched very well, and can e worn multiple ways because of the button straps. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I was pleased to receive the knife well ahead of the predicted delivery date. It arrived well packaged with the blade out of the sheath and wrapped separately in oil paper. The blade was very sharp right out of the box with no nicks or chips. The sheath is a heavy leather that looks like it will wear well. A sharpening stone was provided in the pouch. There is also a loop sewn into the sheath to hold a ferro rod although one is not included. Its a well balanced and solidly constructed knife that should hold up well under regular use. The handle is a bit thin for my taste but the finger grooves do offer a firm grip. Considering the price, I think most people will be happy with it.

Happy with how sharp the knife is and overall craftsmanship of the blade. Not satisfied with the sheath - the knife fits loosely in it, and the sheath hangs loosely on my leather belt, which is already a little large compared to most belts

Great quality, very sharp and the sheath is well crafted leather

A beautiful, sharp knife with a very aggressive profile. One quarter inch thick D2 tool steel that cuts paper like a razor. The top blade grooves are sharp and should notch wood very easily. The handle is just right for my medium size hand and it is flawless. The sheath is even more attractive in person and the leather is thick. My only criticism is that I wish the sheath had a belt loop for vertical carry. I think that it may be too intimidating for horizontal carry. I can’t explain it but I just had to see if the picture of this knife was the real thing and I am not disappointed. I highly recommend this knife as it is very well made and the sheath is a work of art.

Very good blade ! Grate price , fast shipping. And very very sharp . Would suggest anyone who likes good blade ! Should buy one from these folks . I am quite happy with mine .

Knife is nice. It came when promised and was razor sharp. My only issue so far was I ordered yhe right handed sheath but came with left hand sheath. Someone doesn't know right from left.
