A little story
I keep these flashlights in every room of my house, but the one used numerous times, every night, stays right by my patio sliding door. And, has it ever saved my bacon, on more than one event. When I went from the standard old flashlights to the Tactical LED versions, I was astounded at how well I could visualize my entire backyard, with a single sweep of the light. I could even pick up the eyes of the smallest critters, peering my way. Even a bug's shiny exoskeleton. Amazing!Since I'm a late-nighter, having to take my dog out for his last personal break in the wee hours, it's imperative that I can check the yard first. My yard can be a zoo at night.I have visiting cats, opossums, raccoons, and snakes. I thought that was all, until the fateful night tiny eyes greeted me at the very back of my yard. What was that, I thought. As I ventured closer, the white stripe running the back of the critter alarmed me. Oh no, now skunks!I later found that it was a mom skunk, with a new litter under my expansive deck. I was able to find the babies by using the zoom-in feature of the flashlight, enabling me to peer through the small slits in the deck boards. I could not have done so with a traditional flashlight. It's a given, that I needed to know where those skunks were, at all times. While my dog is a 90 pounder and can handle himself, I do not want him to tackle with any of our visitors, particularly skunks. Yikes!I prefer to gently urge the nocturnal visitors out of the way before letting my dog out. It keeps both of us, and them, safe. I'm quite sure than without being able to illuminate the yard so well, that I would have missed some of the visitors with a sad outcome. It had happened before.I will never be without these flashlights. I've also gifted them to others who I'd like to keep safe, too. Whatever your personal needs might be for such lighting, I think you will be pleased to give them a try, while wondering how you lived with substandard lighting for so long.

OK, with flaws
The flashlight is bright enough for what it is but I don't think it comes anywhere near the advertized lumens. I'm taking off one star because both flashlights in the pack frequently (but randomly) come on in one of the flashing modes even if you turn it on to a solid beam, turn it off, and wait. It seems like if you turn it back on and don't wait a full minute or longer, it'll flash the next time you turn it on and you have to turn it off/on twice to get a solid beam back. I'll also drop it another star because one of the two lights in the pack has already started randomly dimming (to about 1/10 brightness) at times and you have to tap on it to get it to go back to full power. I suspect you just get what you pay for. I also didn't expect the focused beam to throw a square beam but I've gotten used to that and don't mind that it isn't a round beam. The biggest problem is walking the dog when you pass brighter/darker areas and you don't need the flashlight on all the time. Seems like it should default to a solid beam if it has been off for say 10 seconds but I've had it flash when turning it back on after it's been off for a solid minute. Pretty annoying.

I truely enjoy this light
I truely enjoy this light . this little light held up to my work setting and also at home . i took this light to the beach camoing and let me 3yr old daughter have it and use it at her will. She dug in the sand with it ,she threw it in the water, and burried it in the sand . all i had to do was take it apart clean the sand out of it and took it to work the next day . I figured out that is had 3 different levels of light intensity also a strope feature with a SOS signal . this light is very bright and the spot light feature to help trace lines and get the attention of the other operators. My daughter thinks this light is hers so i have to buy a few more and keep them around . i should get the rechargeable battery but over all a pretty good light . very light in weight not to bulky when its in your pocket . i wish it had a pocket clip on the body so i could clip it to my belt .

My favorite LED flashlight for working on electrical circuits.
My favorite LED flashlight for working. It's not the brightest flashlight, compared to the various other brands I have, but it's the most useful. The lens makes for a very wide beam of light. Absolutely ideal for electrical work when the power panel has been shut off. I can lean the flashlight against a tool bag, and it lights up the general area, and whatever I'm working on. The light isn't so bright as to limit its usefulness as a work light, unlike a true tactical flashlight. The zoom function is okay, but at the tightest beam, the light projects the square shape of the LED. If they sold a version of this without the zoom (wide beam only), and without the various mode options, I'd buy several more.

Since when is a Tactical Light supposed to require 5 Modes?
If this had two modes, High/Med/Off, it would be fine. Single Mode On/Off would be great too. Why 5 modes? Thank goodness it's not Seven. For serious use, clicking through two blinking modes and a few levels of brightness could have it's risks. A Real Tactical Light has to be simple and easy without needless operations to deploy it. I don't think I'd be betting my life on these, but for a flashlight to keep in the glovebox or tool kit, it might do ok. It is based on an older and lower output LED lamp, but they usually give decent service and ample output. Pair this light with a decent battery, and it's usable for non-critical purposes. Price wise, you sometimes get what you pay for. These would be a great deal without useless extra modes. The AAA batteries are convenient, but not the best solution. A GOOD 18650 Li-Ion works great. It has enough room for a Good 26650 without the battery adaptor or sleeve. Not sure if that size is recommended, but it fits and has worked well for me. Seem to get better life from them. A good charger for the LI-Ion batteries is a MUST.

Good at first
I'm confused, maybe someone can tell me if I'm trippin, I just got these, maybe a month or so, but don't use it often, I put in fresh Duracell batteries last night, used for about an hour, and now it's dim af? Aren't they supposed to last a little longer than that? They're not damaged at all, I spun the batteries around, all that, not super bright. Is that normal?

Good quality Sturdy Torch and Really Bright
I'm a delivery driver, delivering to domestic homes, that very often have no porch light when it is dark. Thought this would be just the torch I needed to light up house numbers from the kerbside, and I wasn't disappointed. It's really bright (I'm using AAA batteries) and when you put it on max zoom, it gives a square targetted light, which is perfect for shining from my van. Really recommended. 2 for £13 is a decent price for the quality.

Great and comes with two!
Originally had this in mind to be a gift however, I had a go at it beforehand and I found it pretty handy. I kept one myself! The light is actually really bright and can be altered with the zoom in and out of lens. It also has a flash mode if you tap the switch button. Weight is not heavy but it’s sturdy to hold and feels expensive. Overall great purchase!

Ghosthunter
Nice handy sized very bright torch. Fits nicely in a jacket pocket. Bought for going on a ghosthunt at a supposedly haunted house. As expected, the ghosthunt was a con and a waste of money, unlike the torch. Torch 1 - ghosts 0
