This beautiful little stool is wonderful! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and need something to sit on in the shower. ALL the medical stools are ugly, white plastic and metal, and just make me sad. Why do mobility issues seem to require depressing, boring solutions? Pfft. They could at least make the plastic in colors.I'm 5'1", around 170lbs (size 14), and the seat is big enough for me to park my sit bones on it comfortably. It's tall enough that getting onto it isn't difficult for me and makes sitting correctly fairly easy. It feels very sturdy and well put together. Now I can easily reach my feet without worrying about losing my balance. I can shower at leisure because my feet and ankles don't start screaming from standing up too long.It does have a lovely scent that I hope will linger for awhile. I am extra happy because I am very interested in Japan and it's culture and history. :) A little piece of Japan that isn't a $3K soaking tub. ;)

I was looking for some kind of stool for sitting on while taking a shower. I could have gotten one of those cheaper plastic stools, but this one is much more comfortable to sit on.It fits perfectly in my bathtub with room to spare. It seems just about 11 inches high but I didn't measure it. I don't personally find the seat to be too narrow in any way, but this definitely will vary by the size of the person.It air dries in my tub quite fast (I think that's a trait of hinoki wood?).

A great shower stool; small but steady and it does not tip over. It is extremely well constructed and l can also use it as a step to reach into high cupboards.

It is compact just like I wanted. I love the light wood grain. It has a clean look and fits well in my bathroom shower where I place my shower toiletries on top and under in the shelf.

The item came early, was packaged nicely, the wood smells devine and I am always impressed with the quality of products from Japan. Art full craftsmanship.

ふるさと納税でもらった風呂イスが壊れたので購入したが数万円した割に1年足らずで壊れた。これは値段も安いし、ふるさと納税のよりしっかりしていて商品は良いものだと思う。ヒノキの香りもして良い感じ。座面が小さいかなと思ったが、座ってみると良い感じ。風呂桶が下に置けるのも良い。マイナス星一つの理由は、2つ。商品に紙製のシールが2つベタ貼りしてあって剥がすのに苦労した点。足の部分にゴムなどで底上げの水切りがなく使っているうちに黒ずんできそうな点。

After 6 months I noticed a huge split in the wood on the side of the seat!Low quality wood with fillers throughout the stool. Also the stool is way to low to the ground not easy to scoop out water from the bath and the seat is not big enough for my bottom and I’m only 147cm 52kg.I would NOT recommend this stool!I can’t return this product so my ¥2300 was a waste of money!

購入して2年近く使用していますが破損なく使えています。ただ乾燥が甘いせいか、裏面がカビてきてしまうのは仕方ないですね。プラスチック製のものよりしっかりしているので少し高い所のものをとるときなどにも使えて意外と便利です。（照明器具とか戸棚の上とか）若干お尻が痛くなってしまうのが唯一の欠点。

はじめは、木の香りがして、良かったのですが、きちんと管理していなかったので、黒ずみが出てきて、汚らしいいんしょうになってしまいました。　おまけにかなり重量感あるので、お風呂で、素足で踏まれると危険かも。　毎日使った後、よく洗って陰干しなんて、普通の人には非現実的だと思いました。

香りは購入して開けた時のみ。風呂場に置きっぱなしにしたらすぐヌルヌルしてしまう。ヒノキは高いの買わないと香りが楽しめないんだなぁと思いました。
