Prior to buying this when I was using original prong contacts, my dogs were getting irritation marks on their necks. This is a life saver and my dogs don't get marks on their necks anymore. This really should be the default prongs.

UPDATE: Dogtra customer service reached out to me promptly, apologized for the mistake, and sent me the right variant which is compatible with 1900X. The new one works like a charm, and I can access the power button.Be careful if you have 1900X series - this is not gonna work with your eCollar as it will cover the power button. I tried calling the customer service, and they confirmed that. They said they sell another version of it, but it's only available on their own website and not on Amazon. I'm pretty disappointed with their customer service since this hasn't been mentioned on the product description, and they didn't make any efforts to make it right (e.g. exchange it with the right one).

Bought this for my dogs 280C because the original prongs don't touch his skin through his thick husky like hair and this works perfect. It also makes me feel better that it isn't digging into his skin as much. Just make sure to test the effectiveness on your own skin in case the stim is too high or too low.

Maybe it would work great for the right dog. I have a Dutchie with medium hair, similar to a Labrador Retriever's coat. Could not make a consistent contact. Went with the same with wings, and it works much better.

My dog has a stainless steel allergy so this has worked out well. And he seems far more comfortable in this than the long prongs, but they’ve broken twice. Dogtra has a solid warranty and quickly sent a replacement after a phone call and an email, but I’m not sure they’ll last.

I recently purchased one of these due to my Cane Corso being allergic to the original prongs on his collar. Since using this new titanium contact, his coat has cleared up beautifully. This seems to make his collar much more comfortable to wear and having the more contact points seems to work extremely better than just having the standard unit.Installation was super simple and I was pleased to find it comes with the little wrench needed for installation. Having said that, I do have some complaints.The prongs are super stiff. They have no give or ability to flex what so ever. This seems to make the collar stand out on the neck quite significantly, having to loosen the strap another 3-4 holes. If you don't loosen it up enough, the two outer prongs dig into your dogs neck without any flexibility. If you loosen it too much, the inner prongs don't make contact with your dog at all. Upon finding that "sweet spot" while adjusting, I noticed the E-collar itself sticking out so far on the collar that the entire thing just flopped over to the side, with all contact points now facing the front of my dog. I feel like all of this could be solved if they would find a way to make these outer prongs more flexible, being able to bend with the curvature of the dogs neck so that all the prongs comfortably make contact with the dog.Overall, a good product, but they need a little work to make this a great product. I did purchase a second unit for my other Corso for skin sensitivity issues.
