Excellent sturdy stand for holding / displaying. Pens in store

They are just as beautiful as I imagined.

These are beautiful for display purposes but depending on the weight of the item it's holding, it may topple. I ended up using a strong double sided tape to tape down the bottom of the holder to the surface of a tray which was the only way I could get it to not keep toppling and even then, it wasn't foolproof. It worked well for most/lighter weight items and looked beautiful when it was stable.

I make pens, cups and journals and this item displays my pens beautifully.

My husband has a fountain pen shop and we bought these for the pictures. The base is okay and fairly sturdy, but there was extra adhesive smeared around the bottom that is visible in the picture. The bottom is just a small rectangular hole and while it would hold a nib or a pointed pen bottom, a rounded pen has no chance of standing upright. A pen stand that can only hold one kind of pen isn't very useful.

The pen display weighs 36 grams, barely more than my calligraphy pen at 34 grams, so it's easily knocked over. If carefully placed, my pen stands up okay, but I can see how the narrow notch in the base would NOT accommodate other types of pens. While most of the stand is polished, the outer edges of each part, especially the base, is in stark contrast because they are roughly cut, i.e., not polished at all (see photo). I'm returning this item.

These arrived and were not quite what I had in mind. I thought the base would be weighted -- no, it's adhesive. Still debating whether we are going to keep them. We may return them and look for something sturdier and have a nicer appearance.
