Large, Good Quality, a little Clunky
The mug is beautiful and carefully packaged. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the mug has a thick lip that doesn't suit the delicate features of the mug's design.

Sturdy attractive coffee mug
It is a large coffee/tea mug with a very appealing unusual design.

Colors not as vibrant as expected
Color was not as pretty as I expected, more muted, a little bit orange red, rather than a deep red. Round box was sent in a bag with no padding. Mug was unharmed, surprisingly. A little disappointed considering the price.

Arrived cracked
Beautiful mug, but it arrived cracked down one side and slightly chipped, but because of the pattern the damage was not apparent until it was used. The original decorative box was in perfect condition. It was a gift, so the return window closed before we became aware of the problem.

As the mug comes boxed it is very suitable as a gift and at a reasonable price. The only thing is its called Portmeirion so I bought it for a friend who is going there. However, the word Portmeirion doesn't appear anywhere on the box or on the mug so i had to explain what it was called and that is why I chose it!

my son bought these for me but smashed the red one (personal favourite) so he replaced it for me. 02nd jan 2024 they are currently on sale direct from portmeirion themselves for £11.49 though. They come presented in a beautiful round cardboard box matching the colour (there are 3) of mug. Slightly larger than usual mugs but well worth the money. Good quality china mug for tea, coffee and hot chocolate lovers

Favourite mug with a timeless and original William Morris design. I have 2 and it feels good on the lips as the edges are thin and smooth
