Can this remove lints and dog hair? Sounds like it’s just a shaver

Works beautifully on cashmere. I used the number 1 speed. Just don't push too hard and take your time. Good luck!

Is there a secret to turning it on? I put in new batteries and it won’t turn on with either setting.
