Huel Vegan Protein Powder | Complete Nutrition | 20g Protein

This is the best plant based protein shake ive found. It tastes WAY better than the Huel chocolate Black Edition shake, but I couldn't find this one on their website. I hope they haven't discontinued this!!! This shake tastes great and mixes well with just cold water in a shaker bottle, but it also has great macros and ingredients. I start every morning with one of these. Please HUEL, don't stop making the chocolate brownie formula!!!

This may actually be the worst tasting drink/protein mix I’ve ever tried. Attempted once, tossed the rest. Alternatively, the ready-to-go chocolate Huel bottles taste great.

This here product is perfect. Now I will I will say I was hesitant after reading reviews and people saying that it's grainy and it doesn't taste good and everything is wrong but I can tell you it's amazing. Yeah it is a little grainy not horribly bad but a very light graininess to it. If you have ever tried the ghost protein powder that is grainy this is not even really that noticeable. I would recommend not mixing it with water and if you have to don't do 10 oz go less if you do water and that's only because the flavor is watered down. Now if you mix it with milk for example like I did; I used silk almond chocolate milk and oh my God I thought I was drinking brownie batter that's how amazing it was. So I absolutely recommend this product. It has a great protein content at being 20 g. Now remember this is protein powder not a protein meal replacement. This is used for after a workout. I don't use a mixer cup but I do use a mixer and I can say the mixability with it is absolutely incredible. No clumping nothing. I would do your liquid first and then the powder. I would say yeah it is filling granted I wanted to drink more after I mixed it with the chocolate milk because of it tasting like brownie batter which obviously that the flavor but I had to stop myself from doing that. All in all I would say you definitely are again a lot of value for your money with this product. 10/10

This stuff is great in theory - nutritionally complete, lots of protein, low calories. With that said, I’ve tried both chocolate and vanilla and they do not taste great, nor do they mix well if you don’t use a blender. But to me it’s tolerable. If you want a smooth shake, you definitely need to blend them extremely well, otherwise you get chunks of wet powder in your mouth that aren’t pleasant. I’m currently trying to gain muscle though and these are really, really helping. I’m replacing two meals a day with a shake made with 2 scoops of powder and getting an easy 80g protein. If you’re not put off by the taste of vitamins/protein and looking for something to achieve your goals then this stuff is great. Just don’t expect it to taste as good as some other dessert flavored powders.

I like the amount of protein this gives you and the low calories. It does have a weird aftertaste. I first tried it in my hot chai thinking I could stir it to blend. That was a disaster. It was clumpy and way too thick. I had to dump it down the drain. I next tried it in a blender with 10 Oz. of almond milk, a cup of frozen cherries and a stevia packet. I got the chocolate brownie flavor. That was pretty good, but the aftertaste is a bit off-putting. I've had other brands of protein powder that taste better. I won't buy this brand again. It seems expensive to me, too. My son buys this brand directly from the company website. That might be cheaper.

Great flavor and dissolve easy. This shake has the less sugar intake you can find in the market and it makes you feel full a good time. The Chocolate flavor it’s the best, I don’t recommend vanilla flavor.

I won’t get into the difficulties of eating clean/healthy on a budget. It’s a shame that in America it’s a privelege to eat GF/Vegan/Sugar free! Introducing Huel! I was searching for a protein shake that was vegan, had nutritious ingredients, tastes good, doesn’t hurt my tummy AND budget friendly and WOW Huel came through! I bought it for the price being so reasonable compared to 3-4$ a serving for other brands and figured I would deal with the taste but I was pleasantly surprised! The taste is delicious. It’s filling, doesn’t break the bank and as an IBS sufferer isn’t hard on my stomach like many protein/meal replacement drinks. This is really helping me and my husband get healthier faster! It’s my morning meal. I add banana, almond milk, greens and some nut butter for a powerful snack. Tastes great on its own and shaken up with water too!(how my husband usually drinks it). Thanks so much Huel! I’m hoping they will have larger serving sizes soon to buy in bulk!

Terrible. Bitter. Couldn’t even finish one serving. I’ve been trying to find a good substitute for the reformulated protein shake I’ve been drinking for over a decade. This looked to be close in formula, fewer fillers. I always add berries and peanut butter to my shakes. This stuff is bitter to the point that I couldn’t even taste the tablespoon of peanut butter I added. In addition, I couldn’t taste even a hint of the chocolate flavor. I’m not sure who enjoys this, but it’s not me. The only plus is it blends well with a ninja blender. ***Update: I reached out directly to Huel and they were GREAT about refunding my purchase. They stand behind their product 100%.
