How long does a 40 lb bag last with 5 horses

Dosage is determined on weight. Each bag includes an approx. 4 ounce scoop and 6 ounces is the recommended daily serving for a 1,000lb equine. A 10lb bag has 26 servings for a 1,000lb equine. To determine what size product you would like, consider the weight of your equine and the number of equine you will be feeding. For example: A 10lb bag has 26 servings for 1000lb equine, but a 10lb bag has 52 servings for an 500lb equine. In your case, a 40 lb. bag would last you just under 21 days. does this supplement cause weight gain,( I have an easy keeper and have to be very careful with calories)?

I only used it for one month, then changed to something else. But it did not seem to cause any weight gain in either of my horses.
