Q: What are the care instructions for this helmet? Is it machine washable? Can it be dried in a dryer? Or is it hand wash only and line dry?

I just threw it in a pillow case with Velcro attached well. and closed pillow case with hair band. washed it with his baby clothes. extra rinse. Then took it out and threw it in dryer by itself on low. Came out still looking great! Be prepared to wash it often if your little one is a sweater like mine. Although the air vents on this design help ALOT with that. He loves his little "Hat".

The helmet did not help with shaping my grand son's head at all. It did however help protect his head when he fell down.
