The product is effective and definitely helps the plants to grow. I didn't fertilize all of my plants with this because it wasn't time for them all to be fertilized yet, so I noticed the fertilized plants were growing more quickly than the others. I'd say the fertilizer definitely did its job. The downside is that you have to be very careful how this is applied to the plant so it doesn't burn the roots. Toward the end of season I found myself just sprinkling the fertilizer on top of the soil, rather than mixing it in. I think there's more loss this way but I couldn't risk burning the root systems.

Usually, these plant fertilizers are wearisome to use. Never know if it will work or kill your plants. I can tell you right now that this worked for my peppers which I brought in for the winter.
