We've used this mat to cook bacon in the oven, and also to make potato chips in the microwave. The little pyramids keep the food off the surface to keep things from getting soggy. I recently purchased this silicone baking pyramid sheet and I am thrilled with its performance. Not only is it super easy to clean, but it is also dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup EASY!I have used this silicone baking pyramid sheet to cook a variety of foods, including meatballs, French fries, and chicken, and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The pyramid design allows for the food to cook evenly and crisp up perfectly, while also lifting the food off the baking sheet to prevent it from becoming oily or soggy.The silicone material is durable and heat-resistant, so I never have to worry about it melting or warping in the oven.

The mats are great for cooking fries, chicken nuggets and foods like that. I used mine recently to cook some coconut shrimp. The best feature is that you don’t have to turn the food over for thorough cooking because everything heats evenly. Clean up is easy as you can just put it in the dishwasher. My only concern is that the mats do not come with instructions for use. I went to the manufacturer’s website and it’s recommended to not exceed 440 degrees. So I have found that foods recommended to be cooked at a higher temperature, just add a few minutes to the cooking time and you get the same results.
