Magpul RSA QD Rail Sling Attachment Black

Excellent bit of kit. Typical Magpul build quality. These are very sturdy and offer a secure attachment point for a sling. I do not regret buying this item.I torque the screw to 25 in-lbs.

When you require reliability and durability, you can count on MAGPUL. MAGPUL sling adapters have always proved to be products that can be copied but never duplicated. Beware of the cheap knock offs and soft metal adapters that strip at the slightest tension. This product has never let me down and I have purchased 3 MAGPUL sling adapters like this in the past. Expensive but quality rarely is cheap. A+ product, I use it on real guns and airsoft rifles.

The mounting device is user-friendly, easy to operate, and effectively serves its intended purpose at an affordable price. Once installed, you can attach your QD sling to the RSA QD by aligning the QD swivel with the attachment and pressing it firmly until you hear a click. This design allows for quick and easy attachment and detachment of the sling, optimizing both comfort and functionality for two-point sling use.

I'm a big Magpul fan, well actually not a fan of all their products, never really cared for their pistol grips, vertical grips, stocks, and Handguards, but their slings and magazines and accessories I do like a lot, I built a new AR from the ground up and have been accessorizing it to fit my taste and my needs and went with two different sling Systems from Magpul, the new AR pretty much only has Ambi sling plate at the rear of the lower and everything else is QD attachments so I went with this rail mounted QD attachment because I liked it being small yet sturdy and a nice overall design that I could mount anywhere on my rails, even on my flat top uppers rail if I desired it, there was another off brand that looked exactly Ike the Magpul QD attachment but when looking at the amount of money I put into the new rifle I wasn't going to go with a cheap off brand that could fail and break and end up dinging up my new rifle so I went with the Magpul version and I am very glad I did because it mounts easy and it doesn't move around at all once tightened, the only thing I can see that could use improvement is the cross bar screw that attaches the two seperate pieces together could be just 1/16" or 1/8" inch longer because it's almost too short and is a bit tricky to attach them together on the rail because it's not long enough to assemble and put on the rail and then tighten, you actually have to put the two halls on the rail and then screw the halls together and tighten them but other then that I love this QD sling adapter a lot and am very happy I didn't go with a cheaper made off brand because everyone knows 99% of the time you get what you pay for and cheaper isn't always betterBC

As with most things Magpul, this QD pic rail sling attachment is awesome. Very easy to attach to a quad-rail, no rattle, and any QD sling I use works perfectly (Blue Force, Magpul, etc.). Having said that, I'm not crazy about the design (angled QD) and it took some adjustment (switching where the angle is on the firearm (up or down). I would prefer a straight-on QD attachment personally, because when it's facing up, depending on where you place it, your sling might rub on your optic which in my mind could over time mess with your zero. Facing down prevents this, but the firearm tends to want to lean away from me and the mag digs into me as I'm walking. Either way, it works. Just keep this in mind to anyone considering this Magpul angled QD attachment.

It functions well, although it is rather expensive. However, it's easy to attach to any Picatinny rail, locks securely, and is quite durable. I would recommend it.
