Saving Levi: Left to Die ... Destined to Live (Focus on the Family)

I read this book several years ago and just loved it. I always regretted giving it away so bought another for me and one to give away. This little boy was left in a field to die after suffering horrible burns but thanks to a lot of people, he was saved. The wonderful woman who adopted him had to go through so much red tape and work with so many people and organizations to get him the help he needed. She spent time away from her husband and other children to get Levi the help he needed. He's an amazing little guy and is with an amazing family. It's a story of heartache and of love. It really does take a village.

Beautiful story of unconditional love.

We adopted our daughter from China at age 4 and she had survived a very bad burn injury as an infant. So thankful that Levi’s story is out there. It provides a valuable connection for my daughter.

This was an amazing true story about an American Family who traveled to China to work in a Christian orphanage and ended up saving the life of a critically burned infant left to die. With their faith and determination they saved his life and later adopted him. Many people came together to make this all possible. This story was so amazing it was hard to believe that it was actually a true story! I highly recommend reading this book!

This is a fantastic book that fills your heart for the children in china. I recommend this book for anyone. I gave this book to may daughter, she adopted two girls from china. She loved it, and gave it to a friend to read.
