Pricey but you get what you pay for
I was a bit put off at the price of this air mattress. I had a good friend of mine who camps up in Canada regularly recommend this. I was purchasing it because I was going to a concert in the Gorge Washington. I am flying from Chicago, and weight is going to be a big issue, on what I can bring. She recommended this because it is backpack friendly. Also you can combine it with a treker lounge chair and you have your bed and chair in one. When I opened it, it was light and easy to setup. I camped out in a field in IA overnight and was very comfortable. I have taken it to the beach in Chicago and it dose a great job as the chair, as well. It is sturdy. I am 265lbs and I do not feel like I am going to break it. I will update with how well this wears over the next few uses.

awesome sleeping pad
This pad (large torso version) is 25 inches wide and 48 inches long. Weighs 1 pound.I recently used it on an overnight camping trip. Placed it on top of another pad ( Astro Ultralight Camping Foam Mat full length, .25 inches thick, weighs 4 ounces) and the NeoAir Trekker pad kept me super comfortable all night. I am a side sleeper and only inflated the pad enough to keep my hip off the ground. A side benefit to not inflating fully is that I can leave it inflated in the tent and kneel on the pad without worrying about stressing it. The Trekker model does not have a noticeable "crinkel" sound when moving around on it.Note:I strongly recommend getting an "Instaflator" for inflating any small air mattress. From previous mattresses I have owned, after "a few" times of inflating a mattress by mouth, I just don't want to get my mouth near it any more. Ick. Amazon has sold the Instaflator in the past, not sure why they are no longer selling them.A stuff sack is included with the NeoAir Trekker and is a bit larger than it needs to be. The bag still feels a bit large even when the mattress is rolled up with an Instaflator inside.I enjoyed the extra width of the Large Torso model, which allowed me to lay on my back and have both arms rest on the pad at my sides. My feet don't easily get cold, and I don't mind the NeoAir Trekker Large Torso pad not extending below my knees. The other pad took care of insulating my feet nicely and provided a measure of protection for the NeoAir Trekker, although the NeoAir Trekker seems to have a pretty tough texture on it and probably does not need the help. The NeoAir Trekker did not move around the tent at night, and I did not roll off of it.The inflation valve on the NeoAir Trekker was easy to use and did not leak at all. With an r-value of only 2, it worked fine with the secondary pad (link above) when temps were around 42 degrees at night. I am confident it will work fine at temperatures much lower than that. The sleeping bag I was using was a super-inexpensive Suisse Sport Adult Adventurer Mummy Ultra-Compactable Sleeping Bag that weighs only 3 pounds. I am 6'1" and 200 pounds. At 42 degrees, wearing fleece and socks, I was able to leave the bag unzipped most of the night. I attribute much that warmth to the combination of the two mats, so I cannot positively confirm the warmth of using a NeoAir Trekker if it were to be used alone. The NeoAir Trekker is an excellent piece of gear and makes for a restful night of sleep. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Neo Air Trekker Mattress (LARGE) is a wonderful find
I was initially skeptical on buying another pneumatic pad or "air mattress" based on my past experience in the Army and as a civilian, using these inflatable pads and mats. They were either foam-filled or vinyl, and leaked or were ungainly to roll up, deflate, store. Also, the cost can be a little prohibitive.I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised thus far. I got this one, the LARGE, at $99 with free shipping, so I got a good deal too. Here are my observations:- easy to inflate (but takes a little while, about 30 breaths for the large version)- insulates well- does not "crinkle" when you roll over- sleeping bag does not slide off too easily- rolls down to a very compact size; about 10" x 5" round- watch for condensation, don't want to store it wet (inside)- external surface of mat doesn't like moisture, liquids. i.e. face oils will stain it, use a cover or pillow. Some have complained about leaks, I have not had any yet. I would recommend buying well ahead of a camping or backpacking trip, and TESTING the mattress like they do inflation tests? Like 24 hours, leave it inflated with like a pile of pillows on it, see if it goes down any.I definitely prefer this (for backpacking and remote wilderness camping) over any foam core or vinyl mattress, simply for convenience and portability.I would also definitely recommend getting the LARGE size for simple width. Note however, the length may be too much for a normal 2 person backpacking tent to handle, if you got 2 pads side by side. The mattress might end up rolling up against the edge of the tent, picking up moisture from the tent wall/floor.Also (just a recommendation) use a tent footprint or tarp when possible, will provide added insulation and protection against potential punctures from underneath (thistle or thorns). Of course, nothing will protect you from mature kiawe thorns. Just watch out for that.HOWEVER (caveats):- don't get it wet or submerge it- don't snag it on trees, branches, rocks, thorns, etc. (be very careful to inflate/deflate **INSIDE** the tent, if at all possible)- if you experience severe temp change be careful in deflating & storing (i.e. cold weather + warm breath then overnight chill...) You'll probably want to air it out when you get home, just re-inflate, leave inflated for a day or two, it should equalize; deflate and store. Meh, however you want to do it.Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. To reiterate someone's previous comment, as long as it DOESN'T LEAK!

Does not include a stuff sack
The product description states that it includes a stuff sack. Clearly, the stuff sacks were never a part of the original packaging, so it falls upon the merchant to have a system in place to add it. Amazon does not have such a system. Since you have to inflate this mattress, they should have a valve on it that lends itself to traditional air pumps so that you don't have to blow it up by mouth.

Over 4 years old and replaced without even asking for proof of purchase!
I bought mine in 2013, used it on two cycle touring trips and it proved an great bit of kit. Had an issue with it delaminating towards the end of my trip in 2016 but did nothing about it; sent it back January 2018 and it was replaced without quibble and returned within a week...

Absolut genial!
