Douglas Laboratories Cysto Renew | Supplement to Support a Calm and Healthy Functioning Bladder* | 120 Capsules

I have suffered with Interstitial Cystitis since I was 21 years old. The only times I have truly felt my IC was gone was when I was pregnant or nursing. Otherwise it has been a 15 year search for answers and solutions. I only came across this because I have tried literally everything and things only seem to mask the problem or help ease the pain I am in. My IC is very painful after intercourse, if I eat certain foods like chocolate, tomatoes, anything acidic, or sugars. I have literally only drank water for the past 15 years of my life, nothing else... Earlier on I tried elmiron, I had a bladder distention and even did a year long course of anitbioics since some doctors believe their is a bacteria in the bladder wall even though it doesn't show in tests. Still no solution! My husband was in search for answers for me and came across 2 things on amazon. Marshmallow Root Tea and Cysto Renew. I tried the tea first because I try to be so natural and healthy, and also I can't even take any medications without having what seems to be every side effect know to humanity! The tea did seem to help a little but not a true answer. I decided to stop the tea and try the cysto renew since I wanted to make sure I knew what was helping vs just throw the kitchen sink at the problem and never know what was really solving my pain and problem. Within a few days I felt a million times better. I had and have had zero side effects from taking the pills. I take two in the morning with or without my breakfast and two in the evening every day. I can not explain to you the miracle this natural product has had in the last 5 weeks on my life. I can eat without going overboard pretty much any food I want and as long as I take 4 pills a day I am 100% a happy happy person without any frequency no burning no more crying and emptying out my bladder completely. I went from having a year long flair up and going sometimes 20-30 times a day to going maybe 4-5 times a day and no pain! I am able to have intercourse whenever and honestly no flare up the next day! It is truly amazing. Coming from someone who has tried EVERYTHING and is very sensitive to most anything I have to say this is changing my life. I hope someone else finds the same comfort using cysto renew as I have!

I take Cysto Renew for interstitial cystitis/pelvic bladder syndrome. After trying other supplements for literally decades Cysto Renew is the one that has really helped. I know this for sure because it was discontinued for a long time and my pain and discomfort returned. Since it is available again I sent for a bottle and within a short time feel much better with little discomfort. I would recommend to anyone who has IC/PBS to give it a try. Good luck if you do.

I had higher expectations for this. It does make the bladder feel better but only for a short time. Maybe a couple hours. I'm wanting to heal, not just bandage. For the price, it just won't be one I use again.

I rarely take time to write reviews for products, but seeing that reading those for this supplement influenced my decision to buy, here it goes! I have been diagnosed with IC after chronic recurrent UTI symptoms with negative urine tests. I have several supplements I take daily in addition to rooibos tea as an antispasmodic. The supplements help, however towards night I always feel a urethral spasms coming on making it very uncomfortable to try to sleep in addition to irritability (who wants to feel like they have a UTI EVERY night?) the first day I tried cysto renew, my nightly urethral spasms disappeared, there is no coincidence about the cause and effect here. I take cysto Renew twice a day (2 morning, 2 evening) along with d mannose to prevent UTIs and biofilm defense+zinc to prevent biofilm formation (bacteria that hides in your bladder wall giving it chronic inflammation with bouts of actual infection when some organisms detach from their hiding spot). If you’ve tried everything else and have lost hope let this be one last try for relief, it’s pricey but there’s no price on pain relief and quality of life

So I've been taking this for IC and I'm not 100% sure this has helped. I take it pretty much everyday and my symptoms have been close to none, but I also don't know if I actually have IC so it's hard to tell if I was getting it and this helped me go into remission, or if I just had a weird few days of having to go to the bathroom all the time. Either way, I like the idea of this potentially helping build the bladder wall, which is why I take it. It doesn't hurt to take precautions. I would like to believe that I nipped IC in the bud before it even started with this product, but I can't say that for sure. Will keep taking just in case.

Because BEFORE THE BOTTOM LINE is so complicated I will just simply drop TO THE BOTTOM LINE. Since February 13 I have had three gynecologist's visits, two bladder installations because I thought I was having an Interstitial Cystitis flare, had one appointment with my gastrointerologist on February 23, and one colonoscopy procedure on March 1 all because of this product. I had no idea I was allergic to the Chondroitin Sulfate which is one of its main ingredients but know now. The recommended daily dosage is 4 capsules or 600 mg. The most I ever took was three in one day which was on March 11. My symptoms were abdominal bloating, extreme pain especially in the bladder, diarrhea, and pain and swelling in both legs. I had no idea until too late, when I looked it up, that these are all side effects of Chondroitin Sulfate. After sending a picture of the ingredients to my iridologist's assistant, who said, "If I were to take Chrondroitin Sulfate I would feel like I had knives or blades in my bladder too. I'm allergic to it." It was then that I looked up the side effects and found all of my symptoms. I strongly advise before taking this product that you make sure that you're not allergic to any of its ingredients and if you experience any negative side effects that you quit taking immediately. Since I had been slowly taking the Cysto Renew, knowing how sensitive I am to any medication or natural medicine, I did not know until I took three pills at the same time on March 11, that the problems I was experiencing were being caused by the Chrondroitin Sufate. The pain and discomforts were off the charts. I struggled for weeks not knowing what was wrong and spent large amounts of money unnecessarily. I have a $5,000.00 deductible with a $7,250.00 maximum out-of-pocket that I will meet this month, three months into this year. I called Douglas Labs this morning to simply inform quality control and was asked where I purchased the Cysto Renew. That only qualified doctors could sell it, and since I did not purchase it from them, but online, it was not their problem. She would pass the information along. They had thirty days to respond. I told her all I wanted to do was inform. I was asked question after question making me feel like I was the one at fault, responsible for the problem. I said I felt that who I bought the product from was totally irrelevant. That an allergic reaction is an allergic reaction and that the makers of the product should be informed. I would be very wary WHERE I bought Cysto Renew, since Douglas Labs specified it has to be bought through an approved physician, and very sure I was not allergic to any of its ingredients before purchasing. It sounds like a great product from most of the reviews, but it certainly doesn't work for me. It not only made me sick it cost me thousands of dollars.

I’ve had recurring UTIs for 30 years, about twice a year, and the last antibiotic treatment didn’t work ( I suspected as much because it felt a little different to me). After self-diagnosing, I bought this product to repair/preserve the lining of my bladder. I was a little hesitant because it’s not cheap. I took as directed every day, and after about 10 days, the pain stopped! Amazing! It really does what it says it does! I do also take Hylauronic acid along with it, but this is the stuff that makes the difference! I’m going to keep taking this until it’s gone, and then get another bottle after that. For all those prone to UTIs, this is a life saver!

**Why isn’t Amazon selling this anymore** It has really improved the pain I have been feeling from interstitial cystitis. I only have been taking 1 pill in the morning, and my pain is 99% gone. I had to stop taking Elmiron. 2 Ophthalmologists told me not to take Elmiron because it can cause blindness. I was so worried. This bottle of pills are a miracle. I recommend it if you have interstitial cystitis. I still can’t believe how much this has helped in such a short time. This is just my opinion. I am not a medical professional. I’m just someone who has suffered with IC for 30 years.
