Women's 18 Hour Lifestyle Wire-Free Bra, Black,40DD

I think I reviewed this bra when I bought it about a year ago. I just bought 3 more. I am in my late 60's and wear a 40DD. I refuse to wear an underwire any more. I thought I needed a bra with stretchy cups to avoid the vertical wrinkles which show though clothes. This bra does not have stretchy cups. Cups are well-shaped with fabric slings inside. No wrinkles! Playtex has also done an admirable job in eliminating the usual scratchy seams. This bra is actually very comfortable on the inside! What would make it perfect? Gel straps, especially wider, attractive satin straps, since straps always seem to show. Straps which could be made even longer when desired. Padding and wider straps which cover the collar bones and shoulder bones even when the staps are fully extended. The bra brand, style number and size (Playtex 4159 40DD) printed on the inside, so the uncomfortable fabric label could be eliminated. However, since I doubt the perfect bra will ever be manufactured, I will continue to buy and be grateful for this one.

You would think everyone on earth would be available on the internet these days but one thing I never found with any google search was a recommendation for a underwire free bra for women with saggy breasts. I have genetically saggy breasts, since I was younger and was always stuck with wearing underwire for support. Needless to say they were always super uncomfortable and I had to wear them throughout the day and night because I felt so weird without wearing anything. I was very hesitant to buy this because anytime I bought a wire-free bra the "lift" would wear out after a few days, the band would begin to fold under me and I would get that uniboob look. Before I bought this I fitted myself, since my recent pregnancy I gained a lot of weight and bra size went up 2 cup sizes (ugh) so I spent a lot of money trying different numbers and brands. Once I discovered my true size and tried this I was very happy. A lot of support, no uniboob,and very comfortable. However, I would not say its anything you can work out in if you have large bust like me, but its great to wear as a regular bra for everyday run arounds. Will buy more once I see how this holds out over time. Fingers crossed!

Lift and smoothness excellent.

I purchased the black bra. I have to say I really thought I would be sending this back because I think no bra is very comfortable, but I like how the bra minimizes and it looks pretty good. It took me a day or so to break in but I think it’s a keeper 🙂 I may even buy another one. I would recommend you try it if your looking for a larger back coverage, a minimizer and comfortable bra.

This is a comfy and supportive bra, however the band is NOT stretchy. I usually wear a 38DD, but that's with a stretchy band. I read reviews on here and went a size up to a 40DD. I should have gone another band size up to a 42DD. I'm hoping this bra will stretch out over more wearing. If it does stretch overtime, this will be the most supportive bra I've ever had. I like the bigger back coverage as well, as it makes you feel really secure.
