This is the 2rd camera I bought for my appartment. This is from my own experience with Anran cameras. Connection is pretty good, quality on this camera is pretty good, been working under high summer temps also under a lot of rain (I live in a tropical country) so waterproof is def under test here with 100% success. Storage with the SD card is a must since day one, like yes buy with the camera de SD card and save yourself the hassle with cloud storage but it does work well too just a bit expensive IMO. I bought this item back in 2022 and image is still clear and sharp as this day march 2026 so yes I know what i am talking about. I use this with Cloudedge app but anran app also works. sometimes if i unplug it for over an hour may be the case i would have to reconnect so i suggest you to install in a place where its not hard for you to get code scanned by the lens easily otherwise you will be climbing for manual reconnection. All being said 5 stars 4 years ago still solid 4 years later. No im not getting paid by Anran and no the didnt gave this to me for free, bought with my money used at my house till today. Attached the photo doing justice at night of a camera that takes direct sun everyday and at night you can actually see whats happening on it with good audio too.

Excellent Security Camera, easy set up and operation is great, I had a problem with the flood light blinking off and on after some usage, so I contacted ANRAN customer support. That day the team Emailed me and asked me to send a short video of the issue and the model number of the unit. After I sent them the information, they contacted me back the next day and told me this was a hardware issue, so the team offered to send a replacement. I will give the camera a 5 Star rating, I will give the customer support team and their technicians a 10-star rating for being prompt on their response. no delays and resolving the issue with the customer in mind. Great Job.

I like that the picture is really HD, very clear. I like that I can control where I want to view, for the most part. There are issues with the panning. I have 2 existing of these cameras; my oldest (about a year) has since stopped going around 360° like it's supposed to and will not go up as far as I wish. Camera #2 is just a few months but I only recently installed it and I have issues with panning up and down. For this view, it's really important for me to be able to plan up and down because it makes a huge difference in where and how far I can see. It has not failed it just seems to have a mind of it's own especially since I use the motion tracking option. Sometimes the trees trigger it and I have some shots of the cat and a weird little creature that remains unknown as of yet. I have tried setting it to low motion detection and set it so that only man like figures would be tracked but to no avail. All in all it's ok. The price is great and the picture is great and I feel safer for having them.

Camera set up and installation was fairly easy. I installed it about 10 feet high above the front door under my entry porch and installed the 12v power supply in the electrical box the camera is mounted onto. Much better angle of view than any doorbell camera! The app is very user-friendly, easy to navigate and the camera connected to my 2.4g wifi channel on first try, using a QR code. The mouning location is a good ways away from my router, but the connection still shows at 68% signal strength. Picture quality is clear and sharp and the live feed loads as soon as I open the app. I'm using an SD card for alarm recording and playback is fast and clear. Motion detection notifications are spot-on and I rarely get any false notifications since I'm blocking any waving tree branches from the detection field. I have disabled the pan and motion tracking feature because I'm afraid of getting the camera stuck in a position that I don't want it facing. However, the field of vision is wide enough so I don't really need to pan the camera.. I've experimented with various brands of wireless WiFi cameras and this is by far the best one at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended 👍🏼

Waste of time and money. Works fine when you do not need it and all of the sudden it stopped recording and needs to reformat the SD card. It has done this a dozen time.

Purchased this item, but was not in town to install in until last week. It turned out to be defective, but I missed the deadline for a return. I reached out to ANRAN customer support and after showing them on screen recordings the defect (it would move left and right, but not up and down) they shipped me a replacement that arrived just 3 days later. The new one works perfectly! All of my cameras are ANRAN and I love how well they all work! Much respect to ANRAN for coming through and showing what customer service really is! Bravo!

I like Anran cameras for a few reasons. One, they are inexpensive. Two, they do the trick. Three, they are easy to connect to the app. I have friends who have very expensive, famously branded cameras (I won't name them, but you can guess) that crap out when the temperatures drop below freezing. My Anrans have continued working at 30 below zero! Now, this specific camera. I bought it because the model I've gotten in the past was no longer available. It seems to have a few quirks. The rotation feature highest among them. It is very unpredictable and jerky. Tap a directional arrow and you might get anything from a very slight rotation to it rotatating all the way to its limit! It will also sometimes move when you touch the screen, as to pinch and stretch to get a better look at something. It can be frustrating if you see something, want a closer look, pinch the screen, and the camera rotates all the way around! I also do not care for the red "demon" lights at night. My other Anrans have a way to shut those off and have only a very dim blue light. I would prefer none at all. In summary, Anran makes a very decent camera for the money. Unless you absolutely need the rotation, I would buy a fixed version. This would be a better camera if it had a lock feature on the rotation, and you could turn off the demon lights.
