Strong, fast setting, easy to work with on concrete
I bought this product after about an hour of online research of different brand epoxies. A few weeks ago I poured our new cast-in-place concrete countertops using Quikrete countertop mix from Lowe's. The concrete bag instructions say the forms can be removed after 18 hours. I waited 24 hours before removing the forms but I should have waited longer-- it wasn't ready. I found that out the hard way when a 6" chunk of concrete broke off the front edge corner of my brand new counter. DANGIT. Luckily, the chunk broke off whole and clean, in one piece. It was a perfect fit when pressed back into place, no chips or small bits to mess with. I used this PC epoxy to reattach the broken chunk following the simple instructions on the package. I held the chunk in place by hand for about 25 minutes to let the epoxy set, then taped the chunk in position to hold it overnight. The heavy chunk of concrete is now SOLIDLY reattached and I'm pretty sure if I whacked it with a hammer, the concrete around the repair would shatter before this epoxy lets go. The gray color is a close match to the raw, un-colored concrete and the repair seam is thin and hardly noticeable. I'm confident that once the concrete is stained it will be nearly invisible. This is good, strong epoxy for repairing broken concrete, not just for filling gaps and cracks but also as an adhesive for actually reattaching chunks of concrete. Oh, and when I called PC Products to ask a couple questions before I bought this stuff, I got an actual person on the phone who was very knowledgeable about the product. Excellent.

Amazing product
I am a complete DIYer. I decided to mount my own tv. Using an underpowered "hammer" drill, the top hole for the mount was drilled too wide and came home the next day to the wall plug falling out from the weight of the tv (set cushions under it of course). Removed everything, bought a caulk gun, followed the instructions to a T (also watched several youtube videos), used only the bolt from a sleeve anchor as the hardware twisting as I went in. It was rock hard in short order and the TV mount has not moved since for at least 6 months. It's a winner.

Strong and Easy to Use
I used this product to anchor vertical rebar in a concrete footing to provide reinforcement for a stone wall. Epoxy is preferable to cement based products to avoid problems with expansion or contraction of the bonding material. This product was chosen for its relatively long cure time and because it can be used without a special gun. Many epoxies cure rapidly and/or require special tools. I wanted to be sure I would have plenty time to fill the holes and install the bars as desired. With regard to pull out strength, I can't comment on the actual performance in my application, of course, but it does cure as advertised and makes an apparently strong bond to the concrete and bar. If you believe the published product specifications, the product is suitable for many construction applications. If you require compliance with standards, note that as of August 2011 the product was NOT reevaluated for compliance with the Uniform Building Code, which was updated for earthquakes and broken concrete. Be sure to check the product Web-site for recommended hole depths and diameters for your application, and follow directions carefully to ensure relatively high pullout strengths. As suggested by the product description, it can be used in a number of applications other than anchoring bars in concrete. I also used this product to repair broken sections of terra cotta drainpipe where gutter down spouts met the pipe at grade level. I used duct tape to hold the pipe in place while the epoxy cured. The results were very good. The only drawback of this product as shipped is that it comes with two nozzles. Be sure to plan accordingly if you expect to be doing a number of small jobs. Nozzles for similar products may be available locally and might fit the cartridge.

Good concrete repair
Bought this to repairs some cracks in foundation. Works good, adhesive is good and forms a strong protection, and is easy to use. My one complaint is that I bought this and a 3 pack of the tubes. I found all of the tubes to stop at about 2/3 of the way. A lot of money for not filling the tube all of the way.

Wasted time and money
One Year Update: I spent hundreds of dollars on over a dozen tubes of this stuff because I thought it would be a permanent repair. See third photograph. After one winter it cracked, flaked, split and is a mess. It discolored to multiple hues from one tube to the next, and even turns different shades when wet which is odd since you would assume an epoxy would be waterproof. The dark crack fill in the photo is an inexpensive clear epoxy glue I experimented with and it looks flawless. And that stuff isn't even meant to be used as a crack fill, or even outdoors for that matter. And it was cheap. Go figure. It's comical how little product is in the tube. The crack preparation is the hard part. Applying the filler is really easy and simple to do. The color is kind of blueish grey. Wish it were more off white so it doesn't look so obvious. Just ordered four more tubes. Probably still won't be enough. Hope it lasts ten years or more without maintenance. Picture shows one tube of filler next to a foot ruler. Update: see new photo for the color change after filler cures. So far I've used seven tubes and still have more to go. Original estimate was four. I purchased a new$25 professional caulking gun from PC Products and it makes it soooooooo much easier to dispense. Almost like it's doing all the work for me. Highly recommend you invest in one because you can empty the tube more thoroughly, and no hand fatigue!
