bObsweep PetHair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop, Charcoal

I've owned 2 bObsweeps for several years now and both performed extremely well over that period. I have 2 large, long haired dogs that shed their weight in fur every year and bOb has helped us keep our house looking like a home instead of a kennel. Between the dogs and 2 young kids, the bObs are used and abused every day. After several years of fine service the main brush motor on one of the units died so I contacted the company looking to buy a replacement motor. In a pleasant surprise the company offered several great options for replacement parts and bObsweeps even though mine was well past its warranty. I ended up going with a new replacement at a great discount. The customer service was through, quick, attentive and second to none. The new unit is a clear upgrade over the old in terms of sensors, battery life and the remote control. I haven't tried the mop or digital wall yet, but I'm sure they're fine. I use main on hardwoods and haven't had the need to use them on carpet. The climb over area rugs fine and do a fair job of getting hair and dirt off (like any vacuum). I definitely noticed the difference in cleanliness and how much I had gotten used to not needing to vacuum in the few weeks between my old unit dying and my new one arriving. They really do work.Use notes: - The bOb can maneuver under and around chairs, but I find that it has an easier time if I move them out of the way. - It can get tangled in cords, so those need to be either bundled up or off the floor or somewhere the vacuum can't get (it can get a lot of places, so choose a good spot) - Pay attention to ensure that the automatic scheduler is off unless you choose a time or want a vacuum waking you up in the middle of the night.Pros: - good suction and powerful drive motor - great battery life (60+ minutes) - short enough to fit under chairs, tables and other furniture and low traffic zones where dog hair accumulates (gets areas I can't get without moving things) - huge dustbin - easy to empty and clean - thorough and effective cleaning on hardwood floors - good obstacle avoidance - beeps to help you find it if it gets stuck (can be surprisingly hard to find)Cons: - combination of powerful drive motor, radiused edges mean that it can occasionally wedge itself under things that are a certain height and get stuck (like my dishwasher). Can't quite leave it unattended. - side brush is a little on the short side so it's not perfect at inside cornersOverall: a handy little vacuum bot that will help to keep the house clean while you can do something else. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone with kids and/or dogs. It's not for deep cleaning, but absolutely helps cut down on time spent doing mindless chores.

I have two German Shepard’s. One who sheds at least one small dog a day. I am very particular about my floors and want to keep them clean. However, because of the dogs it was taking me 2-3 hours every few days to vacuum and mop. I was so apprehensive on getting a robot vacuum because of the price and the amount of hair and dirt the dogs leave behind. I researched a bunch before I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I choose this one because of the reviews and the price. I was scared to use it. I cleaned my floors like crazy and waited for the following day to use it. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW WELL IT DID! I have since used it every day I have been off and have rarely needed to use my big vacuum. I am not expecting this to completely replace me vacuuming but it has cut down on it considerably. I maybe use my upright vacuum once a week now and it doesn’t take me as long to vacuum. And between mops I spot mop after Bob has ran, takes me 10 mins IF THAT! It has helped me so much I am so happy that I finally pulled the trigger and got this. I tried to use the “mop” feature. Not a fan. It did not do a good job and didn’t touch what needed to be mopped up. So we don’t even use that feature anymore. I like that you can “drive” it like a remote control car. That’s neat and good for pin point vacuuming. Bob has saved me so much time and saved me a lot of back pain. If you’re apprehensive about buying this, don’t be! Jump and get the help you probably don’t even know you need! It makes life so much easier! After more than 6 months of using Bob religiously his dustbin door broke. He still worked of course. So I went to the Bobsweep website to order a new dustbin door, only to find out they only sell the whole dustbin. I was happy about this as with all the dog hair and dander I think his old dustbin just needed replaced. They were sold out. I contacted customer service and spoke with Ricky. He was wonderful! Ricky placed me on a list of people wanting dustbins when they became available, within the next two weeks I received an invoice for a dustbin. I paid it and within a few days Bobs new dustbin arrived. So I put Bob back to work and he worked like new. I figured my interaction with customer service was over, NO! Ricky emailed back and asked how Bob was doing with his new dustbin! I was shocked! Bobsweeps customer service DID NOT disappoint! I am so impressed with the way Bob has worked so well in my household and how great their customer service is. Do not be apprehensive! Get you a Bobsweep to help you around the house!

I purchased this vacuum to replace an old Roomba. I must say I was amazed at the extras that come with Bob. It needed a long time to charge the battery, but it was worth the wait. I knew from owning a robot that you really have to make sure you pick up things lying around and cords. I read quite a few reviews before purchasing the BobSweep and I checked the good, the bad and I guess the ugly. I also knew that it does not like dark carpets, or throw rugs with tassels but the one thing I wasn't sure of was the battery. I have run Bob for about a month now and the battery is beginning to slow down and does not hold it's charge, it barely cleans two small bedrooms compared to 4 rooms in the beginning and I get error messages at the rate of 1 error per 3 cleaning sessions when there is no 'real' problems. I make sure everything is cleaned inside and out every time I use it and before recharging it. Would I purchase it again? possibly if there was a better battery and if the replacement ones were not so expensive.New ReviewAfter using the bObsweep WPP56001CB Pethair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner since February 2019, I am quite pleased to change my review. I use it regularly every two days and I make sure the battery is drained before recharging. After using for some time I noticed it does have a cleaning pattern it does regularly and it does clean everything even the corners. It rarely get errors unless something was lying around and it got stuck in it (every other vacuum would do the same). I love the fact that it does somewhat disinfects the floors, and I always use the dry mopping cloths, after it finishes cleaning I put the cloth in the wash. The cloths pick up an amazing amount of dirt! If you want the robot to clean longer and better, make sure you pick up what you can, including kitchen chairs, I put mine atop the table, and another else you cannot move, place them against the walls. I love my robot and I definitely would recommend it and would purchase it again!

Does not navigate from bare floor to carpet. It is loud and runs in small circles.

BobWe got Bob 11months ago and what a pleasure it has been, Bob isn’t just a floor cleaner or butler but has become a very special part of our family.He gets up everyday and gets right to work without complaining, lately his battery (heart) started to slow down and with the help of Carlo at bObsweep we replaced his heart at no extra cost (just shipping). A very big thank you to Carlo and bObsweep for making our house a pleasure to walk into at night with the hardwood floors dust and pet hair free….
