It's ok, but polarity is reversed
Update: seller's customer service is top notch. I'm adding two stars back just for that I bought this because I needed a connector from a power supply to the cut to length piece of LED strip. I connected the strip to plastic connector as per instructions, secured the lid and... nothing. To the chase: with external power supply, multi tester and years of electrical work I found the the polarity in that particular connector was reversed. In other words if you put the back of the strip towards the connector's little lid (exactlyper their own instructions) then positive lead will be connected to negative side of the strip and vise versa. You need to insert the strip so LEDs a facing the connector lid and the sharp pins inside of it go into the back of the strip first. QA in this company needs to some serious overhaul. Hopefully this will save someone half an hour.

Easy to use
First time installing led lights and pleasantly surprised how easy the extenders were to install. I'm very happy with my completed project using these extenders.

Value doesn't mean a good easy connection if you have to do it more than once.
not worth the effort to order them or attempt to use them as they not as easy to add to your 8mm LED Strip. Placing this connector actually onto the copper led strip contacts with precision is a trick and they can easily be clamped crook it and not make good electrical contact. The idea is good but the implementation is risky. Best if you use the more trusted method of soldering for a secure long-lasting connection. Good Luck.
