A good outlet
As a hospital grade outlet, it requires a little extra force to plug or unplug something, but you know you have a good connection and the plug won't fall out. It also has a good charging capacity and makes short work of charging my tablet, even while in use. The only downside of outlets of this type is their physical size...it can be a bit of a challenge to get them into a regular outlet box, especially if there are more than one set of wires present, so be prepared to take your time and make it work.

Very nice heavy duty outlet
Worth paying the extra to get the hospital grade outlet, even though I am just using it in an RV.

Indispensable - if your electrical boxes are large enough
Never going back to ordinary outlets. The first and most important thing about these outlets is that they're huge. It is probably only because I opted to have my electrician install the half dozen of these that I purchased while doing some other work, that they're successfully installed. The receptacle boxes in my 1968 built house are barely able to contain these. Z-Wave outlets and light switches, while large themselves, are a much easier fit than these. So just keep in mind the size of your boxes. These outlets also happen to be my first experience with "tamper proof" outlets. From what I understand, the two metal prongs must enter the outlet at exactly the same time. The first thing I attempted to plug in was the wall wart for an Asus UX31A laptop. One of the two metal prongs was slightly bent and that slight bend was just enough to prevent it from going in the outlet at all. One on hand it seems like a pretty solid testament to the effectiveness of requirement that both prongs enter perfectly simultaneous. On the other hand I could see this becoming a bit of a hassle at times. With some pliers I gently straightened out the one offending metal prong and presto, it went in the outlet easily, with a snug fit, and as though I had never had a problem plugging it in before. My wife's iPhone 5s is now almost permanently tethered to one of these outlets and my phones and tablets of various makes and models all charge without issue as well. Not to mention Bluetooth speakers and headsets, PS4 controllers, Raspberry Pi (various versions), laptop cooling fan, you name it. Now that we've gotten used to having these around, I plan on changing out all of the outlets in the house over time.

I was unable to use these.
I was unable to use these. My house was build in the late 60s and the boxes don't fit into the outlet boxes
