This is a very effective paste flux. It is a bit thicker than the brand I used to use, which turned out to be advantageous when dipping wires into its surface. It leaves a thin coat of flux when the wire is removed whereas the thinner types can come out with heavy blobs of flux on them (which is unnecessary and a bit wasteful). Soldered joints come out nice and shiny (I use 63/37 solder) and residue is easy to remove if needed.

Prior to ordering this flux I was using ROSIN FLUX in a bottle which is very messy, I looked online for another alternative and wasn't sure which flux paste to get so reading the reviews lead me to this product and I'm happy about my choice, this stuff is smooth as butter and tins my soldering tips and work piece flawlessly.
