This straightening iron heats up reallyyyy fast! It also leaves lasting results and is hands down my favorite hair tool! I use it for straightening and even curling! Works well for both.

I love this curling iron. It heats up fast and has a strong grip on your hair. Some flat irons don’t grip your hair tight and your hair just comes right out. I highly recommend this product. It is a great value for the price.

This is an excellent flat iron that I have used regularly for over two years. Only one complaint and that is that the tip gets so hot and I regularly burn my fingers.

Good price friendly straightener! My only concern it’s initially I noticed the hot plate is longer than other straighteners so if you grip too high you’ll burn your palm. It straightens smooth and it gets HOT. It does have multiple heat settings and a clip thing (similar to tongs) that keeps the iron closed together when you store it.

I absolutely love this Conair Double Ceramic Flat Iron! It heats up quickly and glides through my hair so smoothly without pulling or snagging. This flat iron is also described at a travel iron because of its light weight. It's definitely lightweight which makes it better for packing in a carry on, but if you plan to travel out of the United States you can't use it. I don't know whether I didn't see it in the description or it wasn't there, but you can't use this flat iron in Europe, Asia, etc. It only has 120V AC only which means I'd need a converter which may or may not work when I travel overseas. If it had dual voltage I would have kept this but didn't realize it was single voltage until after it arrived. If I never went overseas I would have kept it because it is lightweight, has 1" plates unlike most other travel irons which are minis with .5" plates, and can I adjust the heat. I can't give this 5 stars because I can't use it but gave it 3 stars because if you don't need it for international travel, it's fine and works well.

I'd like to first say that I had another hair straightener that I bought in-store, a different brand than this, and it would take about 10 minutes to reach its temp and up to an hour to straighten my hair. My hair texture is Wavy 2C and incredibly thick! Buying a hair straightener online made me feel wary about its efficiency. To my surprise the Conair Double Ceramic Flat Iron heats up within seconds! Even if you need it at its highest temperature. Not only does it heat up right away, it has been able to tackle my hair without fuss! This has helped me save so much time when getting ready in the morning. The lock feature it provides has been nice for storage as well. I tend to travel and am used to just wrapping the cord around the flat iron to keep it shut, but with the lock feature, I'm able to take better care of my flat iron. Honestly, if you're feeling hesitant and in need of a hair straightener that can handle your hair, wavy or curly, this product is worth the money.

I made a mistake buying this piece of c.. please don't do the same. It worked for exactly 2 days!! TWO DAYS! After that you couldn't turn it in, it just stopped working. Never buying Conair again!!

I got this 2 years ago and it still works as new! It heats up fast and works on my hair so well. It gives out the perfect curls, blowouts, and bangs. When curling my hair it doesn't look like a straightener did it, that's how good it is. If you have thick hair it's better to go with tiny sections to get a defined look (curl, straightened hair, etc). It took me 45 minutes to curl my hair since I have thick hair and layers, but they've lasted long for a day with some hair spray (the Tresemme one). Overall this hair straightener is amazing, but don't forget to unplug it once you're done since the battery or whatever stays warm.
