As a Medical Assistant and full-time caregiver for a woman with incredibly chronic UTIs, I had to research and "trial-and-error" oregano concentrate capsules. I won't say the brand here because it can flag the comment to not be approved, but let's just say it's around $8 for a 30 count bottle of oregano oil heavily diluted. I was having to give her 4-6 a day. If you buy this bottle, you're getting the same exact amount of 3 bottles of the other brand, and it works out to the exact same price of that other brand (actually, slightly cheaper) but the concentration and quality of these was immediately noticed. It's a night and day difference since stopping the other budget brand, so now I only have to give her 2 per day, which means it's ultimately 50% cheaper than the brand that's poor quality, and ur getting a supplement that has been manufactured with quality in mind. I hope Amazon never stops carrying these! If you can avoid synthetic antibiotics and try this oregano oil first (higher doses the worse off you are, of course), you'll probably see a big difference in 3-4 days, similar to the time antibiotics start to kick in..except with oregano oil, you're not destroying your entire digestive system's good bacteria in the process. Organic cattle farmers who certify no antibiotics in their products, feed them either fresh oregano in the feed or use a bottle or pure extract and dilute it with hemp seed oil to administer. As with all plant extraction products, the manufacturing makes all the differences in the world... For example if they pasteurize (heat) their extracts, they've killed nearly all of the full spectrum, natural helper chemicals which make the extract more bioavailable and effective. You'd be amazed at how many are advertising as "cold pressed" but are required to pasteurize the final mix, nullifying the cold pressed process, altogether. Also, if they cut it with a carrier oil that's been sitting in a warehouse for 6 months, you're going to get rancid oil which has already fed on the plant nutrients to more efficiently produce bacteria. Just like you want to avoid all sugars for a few hours after u take an expensive, 50 billion strain probiotic because the bacteria will just eat the glucose rather than the negatively oriented harmful bacteria, the same is true with diluting extracts with carrier oils. Ok, I'm rambling... Get these, you won't find a better price for the quality. I'd advise getting as many as you can afford and store them in the freezer. Here lately, Amazon vendors suddenly decided that their products should triple in price because there's supply chain challenges with random products, and they know people will pay the price until it is back in stock, so they gouge ya .. so get these while ya can at this price.
