Real bone nut and saddle. Saddle slot on the bridge there is a little bit gap on it. it measures only 74mm. For yamaha users out there should purchase 75mm bone saddle. But overall sound quality improved a lot on my Yamaha F370 all laminated and my FG800 solid sitka spruce top

Love the Bones! Looks great, Warmer tone and overall better sound. Didn't think it was going to make a difference, but figured let me try it. Glad I did. My daughter was tire of the bright sound of her acoustic. This changed everything. Dad did good. Thought I was done filing down and setting it up the nut until I saw the pics I just took for the review. Next time I change the strings I'll file the sides.. The nut heighy needed to be filed down a BIT to get the action right. Took some work. Keeping it at the proper level angle was tricky. Keep checking as you file. I was crooked. Lost the 90° angle on the nut for a bit, but got it back before it was to late. String slots cut perfectly. The action and Intonation are GOOD. Filing Bone smells weird. The saddle fit perfect (height wise) no filing necessary. A lil small for the slot (see pic). But it works and sounds Great. Added ebony pegs also. Altogether, the Bones make a Difference and made the Guitar GREAT Again. Highly recommended.

The saddles were a bit wider that the bridge just as expected. Everything worked fine after filing and sanding to the correct size. Intonation is spot on.

For potential buyers: these don’t fit my Yamaha FGX-830c, and aren’t exactly modifiable to do so. If you own a Yamaha guitar like mine, definitely look really closely at the measurements you need! For this product though - Saddle is too small, so nothing to be done there. It’s just a *little* short, lengthwise, and a bit too thin. It’ll fit if you’re in a pinch, but it’s definitely not snug. It might even damage your bridge, under tension (b/c of the thinness, the saddle sits at an angle in the bridge slot). You’ll probably need to adjust the neck/truss rod to avoid fret buzz too - Nut is too thick, but you can probably remedy that with some sanding. I didn’t bother though Otherwise, product *seems* good. Hard to judge the quality with my situation though haha

Replaced an older Tusq saddle that had developed grooves. The new bone saddle was 1mm too long ( an easy fix that I knew I'd have to do) but the width & height were perfect. Gave me improved tone & more volume.
