Take a hike with TRAILS and explore iconic sites and national parks across the US. With easy-to-learn rules, you’ll gather resources, go birding, and earn wilderness badges. Grab your friends and family and hit the trail! In TRAILS, players hike back and forth along the Trail, gathering resources, taking pictures, and encountering wildlife to gain bonuses. At Trailhead and Trail End, players can turn in resources to earn Badges and begin their journey back in the other direction. As each player visits the Trail End, the Sun sets over the Trail, and as night falls, Trail sites grant more powerful actions. When the Sun leaves the Trail, the last round will occur and the player with the most points from collected badges, photos taken, and bird sightings wins the game!

Great game, shame about the incorrect pieces
I ordered this game after playing with a friend. I opened it after the return period was over as I was traveling, and annoyingly the wrong pieces were included. There were two bags of the brown pieces and none of the green, making it impossible to play.

Fantastic Game!
The item arrived exactly as advertised, the game itself is terrific. It is definitely one of the best games that was released in it's year. It is a great game to play with kids 8 years and older but is sophisticated enough to play with over and over again, as there is a lot of strategies involved.

I honestly can't understand this game's popularity
I love board games, especially those that aren't super competitive, such as Wingspan. I love hiking. I love national parks. This game seemed to be perfect, especially given all the rave reviews. I bought it to play over Thanksgiving, and it was underwhelming to say the least. There's no real learning about national parks, you just move your marker, take an action (get a resource, get a photo), and... big yawns all around. If you want a game where there's actual interesting play AND you learn something, try Wingspan.

I Gateway before you play ‘Parks’ the bigger game.
I really like ‘Parks’ it’s bigger cousin but this is nice as a filler or to introduce people to this kind or style, or mechanic of play. Fun, quick and easy to learn.
