De momento estoy muy contento con esta grabadora. El sonido es maravilloso. Todavía no probé las conexiones para micro xlr pero los micros que trae la cámara son muy buenos. Quizás hay que estar muy pendientes con el tema de la ganancia, que no sature el audio pero tuve un problema con eso y en edición lo puede arreglar. Es decir, aguanta más de lo que parece, los ruidos altos. Recomiendo no subir mucho la ganancia. Es mejor subir el audio en edición que tener el origen ya desde el principio saturado.

There are plenty of others around here far better qualified than me to talk about the audio qualities of the H5 (it's perfect for me as a jobbing journalist/reporter and broadcaster - 'nuff said). So instead I will look at the build quality and offer some tips for other new purchasers: Build quality: absolutely superb. Seriously, if you've only been exposed to the likes of the Zoom H1 or Tascam DR-05 then prepare to be taken aback by the step-up in quality here. Everything from the analogue dials with their metal guard bars, to the rubberized finish (great to grip) and the solidity of buttons and sockets speaks to the effort that has gone into making this a device that isn't going to fall apart any time soon. The speaker is a decent size and perfectly adequate for hearing initial playback. Even the battery compartment is well made, with a firm click to the cover (no rattling) and a ribbon to ease battery removal - small points, but often seemingly overlooked by some manufacturers. By way of contrast, I purchased a Tascam DR-22 (not a cheap item in itself) and the build quality was awful - line out socket faulty, generally flimsy feel and loose buttons. The speaker is so small as to be pointless, making the headphone problem more of one. I sent that straight back to Amazon for a refund, looked at the Zoom H5 of a work colleague and ordered that immediately. In the box: as well as 2GB SD card (upgrade to a 32GB at once, and that's the maximum so don't be tempted to use a 64GB or 128GB as you'll lose recordings if you do) and USB cable (great to power the device from a portable power slab by the way) you get a windscreen, a couple of batteries and a hard case. The windscreen is a really cheap foam thing and worth throwing away to be honest, buy a decent 'furry; one instead and you won't regret it. The hard case is adequate, but investing in a bigger case with custom/diced foam is a good idea so you can carry other mic capsules, power supply, xlr cables and external mics etc. Here's a good tip: don't throw away the little bit of foam inside that hard case, keep it and use it to protect the delicate mic capsule (see photo) if you are storing this in the supplied case. You also get a copy of Cubase LE and Wavelab software, not on disc so don't panic when you cannot find them, there are download codes in the box. My final tip would be, unless you are looking to invest in additional mic capsules anyway, not to get the Zoom H6 if you aren't going to be using those six channels. The H5 is every bit as good, in my never humble opinion, as well as being smaller, lighter, better shaped in the hand and newer of course. Save your money and by this, you will not be disappointed...

Ich nutze dieses Gerät für Hörfunkproduktionen, Reportagen und Interviews. ____________ Lieferung: Schnell und unkompliziert innerhalb von 24 Stunden. Der Recorder wird mit einer Schutzhülle, Kabeln, Batterien, einer 2GB SD Karte, dem Mikrofonaufsatz und einem Windschutz geliefert. Bei der Anleitung befinden sich auch Lizenzcodes für Cubase LE und Wavelab LE. ____________ Funktionen: Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach und die Menüführung ist übersichtlich gestaltet. Anleitung lesen schadet aber nicht ;) - Man kann zwischen MP3 bis 320kbps und Wave 96khz / 24 Bit wählen. Außerdem stehen verschiedene Kompressoren und Limiter zur Verfügung. Auch wenn der Limiter an ist, sollten die Mikrofone trotzdem gepegelt werden, da es sonst zur Übersteuerung kommen kann!! Das Gerät verfügt über 2 XLR Eingänge die auch für Klinke dienen und einen Line In Eingang am Mikrofon Aufsatz. Der Mikrofonaufsatz der mitgeliefert wird ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut - allerdings im Pegel bis maximal 8 - danach ist ein leichtes Rauschen zu hören. Man kann bei Aufnahmen bis zu 4 Spuren aufnehmen (2 XRL und die beiden Mikros vom Aufsatz) Zusätzlich bietet der ZoomH5 auch die Möglichkeit es als USB Audio Interface zu nutzten. Funktioniert sehr gut und hat direktes Monitoring über den Kopfhörereingang. Das ist auch nötig, da die Latenzzeit schon sehr hoch ist... Aber die Funktion ist sehr nützlich. Für Musiker sind auch ein Metronom um ein Stimmgerät vorhanden (Chromatisch, Gitarre, Bass und diverse Stimmungen wie Open G etc...) Ich ich persönlich sehr schön finde ist die "Backup" Funktion, bei der parallel zur richtigen Aufnahme ein Backup mit - 12db erstellt wird - so kann man bei Übersteuerung sicher sein, dass man eine unversehrte Aufnahme hat. Man kann über die Knöpfe auf der Oberfläche ganz einfach die gewünschten Mikros auswählen, die Aufnahme starten und auch anhören. _____________ Audio-Qualität: Klar ein leichtes Rauschen ist zu hören - aber hatte bislang keinen Recorder, der komplett rauschfrei war - und dieser Zoom H5 gehört zu den rauschärmsten die ich je in der Hand hatte. Bislang habe ich mit dem Tascam Dr40 , Dr100, dem Marantz 620 und 661 und dem Roland Edirol R09 gearbeitet. Allerdings sollte man das Gerät bei der Aufnahme mit den "internen" Aufsteckmikro nicht oder nur ganz fest in der Hand halten, weil jede kleinste Bewegung zu hören ist. Bei einem Interview nicht so dramatisch, weil die Sprache dieses Störgeräusch übertönt! Aber besser das Gerät abstellen oder ein externes Mikro nutzen. Vom Sound her klingen Stimmen sehr schön ausgewogen und voll. Mehr gibt nicht zu sagen! Fazit: Der bislang beste Recorder, den ich hatte - Absolut überzeugend - auch wenn andere Recorder (Tascam Dr-100 / Marantz 661) mehr Funktionen haben - dieser Recorder verzichtet auf unnötigen Schnick-Schnack und überzeugt im Klang und der Leistung. Nach Kauf sollte ein FirmwareUpdate auf 2.0 gemacht werden. Firmware kann man sich bei Zoom Runterladen und die Bin Datei auf die SD ziehen. Und dann den Recorder mit gedrückter Play-Taste anschalten!
