I keep getting a flashing F in the temperature control and I can't reset it by unplugging and replugging it in can you help

on my third heat sunbeam pad. when the control light flashes and resetting doesn't work, the control is broken. One can extend the life of the control by turning it completely off, rather than let the auto-shut off continue to blink. Most heat pad controls have to be entirely unplugged to stop the blinking light. Sunbeam, at least, can be shut off without unplugging.

Can this be used for shoulder arthritis? It seems like it's mostly for back/neck, so just wanted to see if it could also be used for shoulder as well

Yes but it's not designed specifically for shoulders so you'll have to bend it a little. This works for back, knee pain, etc. I use this pad for making yogurt. I've used a buckwheat filled bag designed for shoulders (heats up in the microwave) for fibro pain. FYI, for getting rid of arthritis you might want to check out an article called The-Borax-Conspiracy at the health-science-spirit website (I don't have any connection but I've had great experience with it.)

Can I use it with my lumbar pillow.

Do you mean to ask if you can use it with a memory foam pillow? If so, the answer is yes. Our mattress is memory foam and most of our pillows are also. If you leave the heating pad on all night make sure it's not set on the highest settings. I don't know if the higher settings would cause a problem with the foam. This is the best heating pad I've ever had. Bought an extra one for my husband, and as a spare.

It says "extra large" but the specs say 7.7 x 11.5 which is very small. Is it really that small size, or larger?

The "specs" of 7.7 x 11.5 is the size of the box/packaging.
