Can you flip the mic to mute the headset? also can you mute the mic without being on a call?

Yes you can mute it. It even will tell you in a robot voice when you press the button if it's muted or un-muted. You van switch it from muted and un-muted whenever it's on, when you turn the headset on each time it'll start un-muted.

Why does the Pink say Wired? Also is there a mute button?

It says wired for xbox. the xbox wireless isn’t compatible with this headset. there is also a mute button but idk if it works. i haven’t used it yet

Do you have to have it plugged into the xbox controller with the wire or will it still work wireless if you plug the usb into the back of your xbox?

Please let me know if this it true, I want to get this but want to plug it into my Xbox with just the USB thing and not have any wires. So if it truly works wirelessly without having to plug into my controller and by just plugging the USB connector into the Xbox that would be amazing 🤩
