Mine wasn't too long. I know there are shipping issues on everything now a days. I'm sorry yours is taking so long cause it will be so nice once you get it.

Would I be able to breastfeed baby while walking around with this?

If your child can sit up, I would imagine it would be possible. It's possible your child's head would be higher, but the seat is large enough you could probably lay their hip on the seat and use one arm to support tilting their body. I'm leaning more towards your child would be too high for this to happen.

Is there a trick/tip to wearing this? no matter how i wear it i feel the bottom of the seat digs into my side or the belt digs into my side. any tips?

I’ve noticed that my husband wears it lower on his hip that I do so perhaps raising it up a bit might help.
