my daughter loves to use these with her new microscope. only issue is finding a case. these slides are smaller than normal and don't fit well into a standard slide box.

Beautiful slides for anyone any age.
It was great to have the slides as I gave my granddaughter a microscope for her birthday. They are well done and well packaged.

Glass slides are not much more, avoid these unless you want a poorly made toy.
I can understand these being an okay toy for children, and the plastic is safer than glass. But these are not well made, and many specimens are outside the circle where they should be mounted. Some of them are flaking off, like a butterfly or bee leg. They are smaller than standard slides, so they will not fit a box designed for glass slides. If I had a child who was interested in microscopes and specimens, I recommend sitting down with them if they are young and get descent glass slides which are well mounted, or maybe even make it a family project and learn to mount your own. Especially if you want to take photos or do videos. I have loved science all my life and when I was young, my Mother purchased me a good quality microscope, and a set of glass mounted slides. I kept them for many years, and would still have them had I not lost them in a move. I think it's great to engage young people in interesting hobbies that may come in handy later in life. I guess the bottom line is, if you want a toy for kids to get bored with after a bit, then maybe these are the choice. However, if you are interested in serious learning, as well as fun, buy quality over quantity. I do not recommend these, and think while a kid may like them to start, it won't take long to get bored. Don't miss out on the good ones because you think they are all this bad. On the upside, if you are enjoying the world under a microscope, these may inspire you or your child to seek the better quality scopes and slides. It's a great way to learn, and lots of fun too.

The product was great. The only problem were a few misspellings
The product was great. The only problem were a few misspellings, such as, "corm stem." But since that didn't directly affect the quality of the slides itself Im still giving it 5 stars.
