I consider these a must-have for electrical testing and prototyping, especially for using cheap logic analyzers or the EspoTek Labrador. Alligator clips work great for rough stuff, but for clipping onto individual pins you can't beat Minigrabber-style IC hooks. These have silicone wire insulation that allows them to be very flexible and heat resistant. Definitely pick up some extra-long male headers so you can plug them into a breadboard if you need to

I use these mostly for connecting a usb serial adapter to various esp boards for flashing, if the pads in at the edge of the board I can flash a rom without any soldering. The hooks make solid contact.

Have had these a couple days, been using them to bench test some module boards. No issues. Connectors are as expected and the wires are supple, as you want from the test lead.

I like to play with IoT devices especially Sonoff receptacles. These cables are superb at by-passing the need to solder any additional headers on a Sonoff S31 receptacle. The clips are great on the receptacle and the sockets fir the FTMI USB connector perfectly.
