Handy Hanger Is Not For All
This iron wall mount and board rack is a very convenient device to store your iron instead of tucked away in a cupboard drawer somewhere. It eschews any fancy design aspects, colour or frills of any sort, being almost brutally practical. It's made of strong white plastic with a metal ironing board holder that slots in behind the holder and above the bottom two screws when affixing it to the wall. It's important that you check how high/low your ironing board will when hanging form it before you screw it into place, as bigger board will require it to be quite high. The three necessary screws, along with three rawlplugs, are provided for securing it to a wall. Make sure the wall is of sufficient strength for the job first. I like the concept, the problem for me is that I have an iron with a particularly long cable and thus is is too long to fit snugly into the receptacle provided, resulting in the excess lead and plug dangling loose. It still suffices to keep my iron stored, it is just.... less than elegant, let me say. Perhaps I can update my iron - do they do Bluetooth Irons yet...? With sizes and styles of contemporary ironing boards varying considerably, you should ensure that your board is going to fit, and that you have sufficient space to hang it. I think for most corded irons and boards this will prove to be a very useful device, but it's important that you fit check for your own board and iron first as it won't be entirely suitable for all, with the hanger hooks being most likely to be an issue.

This is very useful storage for certain irons and boards but doesn’t suit all
Firstly this wall mounted iron and board holder is made of very strong, firm, thick plastic material so weight wise if fitted properly into the wall with plugs and screws should hold the average iron and board.Would suggest when putting anything onto it try before its goes on the wall and in the case of the ironing board has enough clearance from the floor. The hooks part can be slotted on the back or left off. They have a solid coating on the end parts which offers a cushioning barrier between metal to metal contact. In our house we have a larger than average ironing board with a ‘leg’ arrangement and position that won’t work with these hooks. The iron has an extra long lead (2 ½ metres) and this will not fit into the shelved area even when folded and fastenined with a tie ( not provided). But…….. this is brilliant for a more regular ironing board and iron with a standard lead especially to help out with storage. Mum has purloined this for a cupboard she has for her sowing. She said its brilliant for storing the ‘mini’ ironing board and lightweight iron she has for pressing her quilt pieces. She has also found the hooks allow her to hang small bags she stores loose items used in her hobby.A great solution for storage (of suitable irons and boards) at a price which reflects its quality.

Finally some organisation!!
The iron holder is perfect especially as it came at a time when I'm de-cluttering, normally I would just put the iron on the shelves above my dryer in the kitchen but at least with the iron holder, things can be a little more organised. The holder came with all the mounting hardware required which is always nice, the actual installation was fairly simple, I just placed the iron holder in the desired location marked the screw holes with a sharpie and drilled the markers, I then tapped the wall plugs in and mounted the holder in place and I have to say it looks a lot better in person than in the advertising. The holder is very sturdy too which gives me confidence in longevity though the wire compartment is somewhat small leading to me struggling to put the UK plug in it with some persuasion I got the plug to stay in haha,Overall I'm happy with the iron holder it does the job well.Thank you kindly for the review sample I hope whoever reads my review has a great day!

Great way to tidy up the laundry room and keep irons away from prying little fingers
This is an excellent holder for an iron and ironing board that tidied up our laundry room in minutes. We use a Philips 3000 steam iron, and the iron holder easily handled it. We use it with the Brabantia sizde C (45cm/18 inch wide) ironing board, and it works perfectly. This is because the board has a stabilising bar running between the legs and this bar fits nicely onto the wire support that hangs under theiron holder on this wall support. I honestly can't envision using the support to hold a board in the Y configuration as shown in the product photos - it honestly looks like those boards are the same width as a standard size skate board! Someone got over enthusiastic with photoshop, I think...As long as you've a bar running btween the legs on your ironing board, this organiser will work well and can be recommended.

Too narrow for ironing boards.
This is great to use as a wall-mounted iron holder, but there's no way that it'll fit most modern ironing boards on the hook hangers. There simply isn't a wide enough gap between the hooks to fit the legs.As my one photo shows, 12cm is no distance and there can't be many, if any, ironing boards out there with such narrow legs as they would simply topple over. If you look at the stock images, the one with it hanging an ironing board on has clearly been photoshopped as the iron looks stretched across the width. There's also no shadow of the hooks. The plastic used to make this wall mount feels sturdy and there are screws and plugs included. Of course, you can install without the hooks or even use then to hang other things.Unfortunately, despite this being a good space-saving idea, I can't recommend it.
