Estako Velvet Chenille Blanket amigurumi Yarn for Crocheting and Knitting Super Bulky 100 gr (132 yds) (1310 - Baby Pink)

I have been trying a bunch of different soft type of yarns to find "my" brand, and so far this has been my favorite. This is more like a plush soft than a velvet soft, if that's what you're looking for. Sort of like blanket yarn but cushier.Pros:Soft, like actually soft, not like the ones that feel soft on the skein but then get hard when you actually crochet/knit with them.Strong, haven't had it break once.Little to no shed, I thought having a fluffy coating after a project was normal, this yarn proved it's not.Nice colors.Decent amount of yarn per skein given the quality. I used one skein on a 10inch plush, for reference.Cons:I want more but don't have enough money.

When reading a review on a product you can get an array of answers. Was this expensive for the amount, yes, but I couldn't find this color in a craft store. With Amazon's free shipping and I only needed one, beat ordering from a yarn company online that had free shipping over $75 order.Now, was it worth the price. Yes! This yarn was thinner but the quality is there. Did not fall apart and held up really well while crocheting an amigurumi project. I am really satisfied with the quality of this yarn and would recommend!

Good yarn for beginners

This is the softest chenille I have ever used! It is thick and soft and makes up very nice. If the skeins were larger, I would have given it 5 stars.

Love this yarn. I was apprehensive with the price but it is the Best yarn i have bought. Recommend for anyone. Smooth as butter crocheting.

Great yarn and soft too!

I ordered 3 different colors for a project.The tan one was lovely and I had no shedding at all with it. Very soft and plush, comparable to Big Twist Baby Bear yarn. However the red and the yellow were both terrible quality and would shed when I picked it up and barely touched it. I agree it’s much skinnier for all three than what appears to be advertised. I suppose the quality depends on which color you get 😬

I make a lot of amigurumi (crocheted animals) and this yarn makes it much easier. The hook slides easily through the yarn due to the velvety texture, and it's nice on the hands and fingers, too. It sheds at the end like other chenille yarns, but that's to be expected. Highly recommend!
