This bronzing lotion is great! It really works and gives you a nice glow. I wish I took before and after photos. Only on day 2 of using and there is a very noticeable difference. I am incredibly pale and am looking for inexpensive ways to get a nice glow before my wedding. Spray tans are too expensive and leave stains on your clothes. This one does not stain! I have noticed a slight odor, like the way you smell after a fresh spray tan, but it does fade eventually. And don’t forget to wash your hands after applying, otherwise you will end up with orange palms! Great product, I’m super satisfied. The bottle is on the smaller side, but I don’t think it’s too bad for the price.

This is a great product that does exactly what it promises. Unlike standard self tanners, this is gradual and you may need a few applications to see the difference. My skin is pretty light during the winter and using this a couple times a week gives my skin a healthy glow. I tan well during the summer and this is fantastic for moisturizing and extends my tan considerably. If you’re using a tanning bed, it’s a real money saver. The color is natural and won’t give you that awful orange color. I love that it applies like regular lotion and I’ve never had to worry about getting it on evenly to avoid streaks. It absorbs well and never transfers to clothing. Holds up to workouts and swimming.

Great for the price. Good gradual glow. Not too dark or orange. Keeps skin soft. Easy to get streaky so apply evenly. Smell isn’t my favorite.

This is the only self-tanner I have used and I love it. I bought it originally to get a little color for my graduation - I don't have time to tan and skin cancer runs in the family, so this was a great tan alternative for me. I'm pretty pale naturally, so I use the fair to medium color.I spent three days applying it in the mornings leading up to my graduation ceremony. I made sure I didn't wear any tight clothes those days so the tan didn't rub off. Before applying, I always a shower and use a wash cloth to scrub a little harder on my skin and exfoliate (the tan will look better this way). Don't forget to do all your shaving before you apply so you don't shave off the tan later. Moisturize your face before you put the tanner on so the color doesn't sit in drier areas like the creases of your nose.I use small amounts and rub it into my skin starting at my ankles. When I'm done applying it all over, I wash my hands and use an old makeup brush to evenly apply a tiny amount to the tops of my hands and feet. It took me a couple of tries to make sure the tan didn't turn out patchy, but I've been using this thing for months now and it's great. The smell isn't the best, but it's pleasant when you're putting it on. I can tell Jergens made an effort to make it smell nice. For those who don't like the smell, I would recommend applying at night and letting it color your skin overnight and showering in the morning!I will say it can be pretty tedious to use regularly because if you go quickly or only do your legs the tan could easily look strange and patchy. It has to be a full body application. I only use it now if I feel like I want to have a little more color on my skin.

This lotion is perfect! I bought the fair to medium and it is a great match for me. I haven't been able to achieve such an even and natural tone with any of the products I have used. I have even used it on my face and it works well.Edit on Nov. 4: It definitely transfers to light-colored clothing and towels. Also, it fades away in patches; and if you sweat a lot, it will be rubbed off by the clothing - for example, I worked out wearing cropped leggings and the color was gone under the hem, which was right under my knees. I still like it and will use it because it does look good and natural. I'll just have to do better maintenance and exfoliate between applications.

I bought fair-medium and it very subtle. I thought it was a big difference, but most people I asked said they didn't notice a change. I'm totally fine with this and it's not the reason I deducted two stars. I apply this product at night, wash it off in the morning, and cleanse one more time at night. By the time I've done all this the tan is completely removed and I can start the process over. There's no color transfer and unevenness disappears after removing the product with the first wash! I deducted two stars because of the color of the tan under natural light. Indoors under artificial light and even near windows the color is great, but under direct sunlight the tan looks very orange. I think this is because of the greater color accuracy and greater intensity of sunlight. It doesn't matter because the end result is a product that is unusable for me
