Libbey Tempo Square Glass 14-Ounce Mug

Very nice mug! I was actually surprised how well this was made when I opened it. Heavy thick quality glass. Feels good in the hand and when you drink from it. It won't probably hold a huge Monday morning coffee but will be my typical coffee mug.

My sister said she drinks much more coffee since she got this mug...She can't put it down. It is a great quality heavy-duty mug. Yet, it is really attractive, and she asked if I could get her a second one at Christmas to offer to her friends when they come.

So, the cup is nice and thick which is what I wanted. Nothing too thin or it would break from just washing it. My only con is that the lip of the cup causes liquid to accumulate on the outside of the lip and fall down. The shape of the brim doesn’t allow for a good enough seal where you drink from to prevent this dribble. It could also be because the shape of the glass isn’t round, it’s more angular at the top so you’re drinking from a straight ledge.I just wipe this away after every sip so it’s all good!

I like it must must not have read the quantity. I was very disappointed that for the price I only got one.

Hard to drink from.

As I could no longer purchase a single mug (in a style I like) made by Anchor Hocking, I thought I'd try this mug by Libbey. The Libbey mug doesn't come close to the quality of Anchor Hocking. There is a seam on both sides of the mug; the seam on the handle is particularly noticeable. The biggest different I've noticed is after heating liquid in the microwave the handle is hot; something that never happened with the Anchor Hocking mug - or any other mug we own. Only positive I can think of is that it's made in the US. Too many other higher quality options at a comparable price to waste money on Libbey.
