This hot dots math workbook is awesome! It is a great review of things that my kindergartner learned this past year and she has been motivated to do it daily by herself! I love that she can do these on her own because the pen is interactive and provides instant feedback on if she answered it correctly or not. The reward stickers in the back provide more motivation for her to complete each section since she loves stickers! It covers all of the math areas taught in kindergarten like counting, more/less than, solid shapes, addition/subtraction, bar graphs and so much more! Great review and also a great way for incoming kindergarteners to start learning in the summer. Highly recommend!

This is a great book for Kindergarten and 1st grade students. It is a simple yet fun way for them to review basic math concepts independently. My 5 and 6 year olds picked up on how to use the book very quickly. It has sturdy, colorful pages that can be wiped clean if needed. The special pen has 3 volume levels (including mute that still lights up). The loudest volume level is not loud or bothersome at all.At the back of the book there are stickers to reward your child when they master a page. I'd definitely recommend!

My daughter was having a blast with this. She was actually having fun learning and I was so excited for her. That lasted for 10 minutes and then the pen started marking everything wrong. I've googled it to try to figure it out and all I've found is that this is what has happened to almost everyone who has got this. Some have lasted 2 weeks though. Someone asked the company directly on fb about it (in 2014, so this has been a problem for awhile) and their only solution was to wipe it with a kleenex...which doesn't work. Ridiculous that they've had this issue for a decade and haven't fixed it yet.*They sent a replacement super fast so hopefully this one lasts longer.

My 4 yr old started using these at age 3 and she loves getting right answers. The pen lights up and tells her immediately. She doesn't guess at random yet, so this is working well for her.
