Works well
Installed to allow remote on/off of hot water. Works fine with water temperature up to 50C, no problems in first couple of months so far.

Used this on a sensor tap system where the exsisting 12v solenoid had failed. Still working after being fitted months ago.

Using it to auto-fill coffee maker
This works great. Have a new coffee maker and the water tank is too narrow to fit even a small float valve.So using an electronic water level sensor, hooked to this valve. Been working great, at least these last several months. The water is coming from a RO system in the kitchen.

They work, but water flow is less a "flow" and more a "drip"
I think that the only way these will work right is if there's some good pressure behind the water to PUSH it through this thing when the valve is open.To use it to "drain" a container, is very difficult because when the valve opens, it still restricts the flow of water.It doesn't appear to open the passage way 100%.I should have bought the larger one, 3/8.

Great value!
Great valve, used for automated watering system. It holds a constant 60psi without leaking when off. It has opened and closed with my timer without fail for 4 months now.

Opens about 10% of the time
This opens a few times, then it will just sit an buzz with barely any water coming out.I have to bang on it a few times to reset it. The arrows do correctly show the water direction, because if I reverse the flow it will not turn off at all.returning it.
