Question 1

Is the water guaranteed to be sterile? the cdc recommends using sterile water for use in formula by babies who are younger than 3 months old.

Accepted Answer

Sterile water is a water free from organic materials but is still not free from inorganic chemicals. Our distilled water has a sterilization process but removes both organic and inorganic contaminants in the water. Thus, our distilled water gives a pure form of water. We also sterilize every bottle before filling them up.

Question 2

Is this a glass bottle?

Accepted Answer

No, it is not a glass bottle. But Our plastic bottles are non-toxic, BPA-free has no phthalates, and no bisphenol-A. Our bottles are proudly made in the USA and are 100% recyclable. Our plastic bottles go through a sterile Ozone rinse before being filled with our water. This Ozone rinse ensures any bacteria, viruses, spores, algae, and plastic by-products are not present before filling.

Question 3

use after opening if I only use half of the bottle can I use the other half a week later

Accepted Answer

Bay-Bay Water and all distilled water companies recommend using the water 3-days after opening. All distilled water companies recommend this because once you open the water container multiple times contaminants can enter and remove the purification of the distilled water. Bottled water that has been continuously refrigerated will keep at best quality for about 4 to 6 days after opening.

Question 4

What’s the pH of this water?

Accepted Answer

Bay-Bay Water is neutral with a pH of 7, but once the bottle is opened it absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, it can slightly become a pH of 6 once opened. We do not add any chemicals like Soda ash (sodium carbonate) and sodium hydroxide to raise the pH of the water to near neutral. We prefer to leave it as nature intends it to be. Bay-Bay Water is produced and processed in Georgia using natural Georgia Springwater and then distilled.
