Works great for my boat. It was easy to install and seems to be a sturdy build.

All aspects of quality and workmanship are good, the material is particularly good, the design is also scientific and reasonable, did not expect so heavy, really good, quite strong

Personally I don’t like the way the handle clicks into the unit, but it seems to work fine. The hook seems a little larger than my last one, but that could just be me. It’s hard to fit a safety chain into the u-bolt on the boat — but again that could be more my boat hook size - I’m not certain. It seems to have a clutch on it. So you can only get it so tight. But overall it seems to work fine. No issues so far.

They need to fix the handle also doesn’t fall off or you’re going down the road to the boat ramp!

Seen negative reviews about the handle falling off. I can see where that could be user error. I agree it’s not the best attachment but if latched in, I don’t see it vibrating off. You could remove it during travel if one was worried about losing it.

This has worked perfectly for 11 months . But now the round collet has broken , making impossible to use . Do I have any warranty on this or can I order the part ??

Nice unit, easy install, works as it should, very smooth and the removable handle is a nice touch. Hardware is not includes FYI
