I can't believe that I used to pay someone to sharpen my pruners!! This tool makes it so easy to sharpen them. And it is designed to reach the entire pruning blade. It just takes 3- 5 swipes and they are ready to go. It is so easy that I sharpen them at the end of every pruning day so they are already to cut the next time I need them.

Using this heavily this spring, keeping my pruners & loppers sharp. Well designed for hand tools. Love the oil-soaked sponge inside the handle! Customer support was very supportive when I called them about deteriorating sponge from heavy use. Called number on back of packaging.

I have a hand sharpener for my kitchen knives but wanted a designated sharpener for my gardening sheers, clippers, etc. This fit the bill perfectly. Makes short work sharpening my hand clippers a breeze and getting all the way back. Good bargain and happy with it.

I have been struggling to find a sharpener for my pruning shears. I purchased these and no longer have to throw away my pruning shears because sharpeners do not reach inside to sharpen the entire blade, but these do. My 5 pairs of pruning shears are now usable and cut roses, shrubs, etc. neatly and with precision.

Several of my pruning clippers had lost their edge. They were gnawing at the stems and branches, rather than cleanly cutting through them. I liked the look of this sharpener when I was considering what to buy. Plus, the price was right. I also liked that this sharpener said that it not only could sharpen pruning clippers, it also could sharpen knife blades. Yes! Two for one!So, as soon as this sharpener arrived (quickly, btw), I took it out of the package and sharpened three clippers. Two of them have "short" blades. The third one has 6-"-8" blades. All three sharpened nicely. And off to the shrubs I went. Nice, sharp blades. Clean cuts! Yes!

The Q yard QY007 a handheld multi sharpener is a delight to work with on your tools. Sharp gardening tools work better and give you a clean cut on plants that you were pruning. They are very easy to use it is an excellent value for your money it sharpens both lob shears side cutters and pruning shears used in the garden. It is very easy to hold and it gives you an oil pad that is included do use on the blade to cut down on rust.

I have several dull pruning shears and a couple of manual hedge clippers that needed sharpening. I used an oil stone, but it was awkward using it on the pruning shears. This works great. I now have nice sharp shears all around. The oil sponge doesn't have much oil on it and started drying up quickly. (Thus only the 4 stars instead of 5). I just put a few drops of 3in1 oil on it and it soaked it up fine. The sharpener is easy to use. I keep it in the package and hang it on a nail in the garage. This way it keeps it handy and clean.

I've only used it once, but it worked very well and the pruners work so much more easily now that they're sharp again. Just followed instructions and gave it four swipes. So far, so good!
