Hayward SP1107 Skim Vac In-Ground Pool Skimmer

Use this on my skimmer for my info rind pool and it works fine. Seals wellEven without the rubber gasket.

I like being able to vacuum the pool and not suck debris through my pool pipes. It fit perfectly and had good suction. There are 2 types of covers one that has a side valve to put hose through skimmer or get one with the valve on top. Worth the money.

The Skim-vac plate fits properly over my skimmer basket, but it is too thin and it flexes when you the pump starts up. I don't expect it will last very long.

Didn’t fit and when I tried to return it the seller was making me pay the shipment. Would cost more to send back than it cost. Wouldn’t trust company!!!

Works fine but don’t drop it. They’re rather fragile. Needs to be made of better plastic. But then I wouldn’t have had to buy another one, would I?

Bought this to replace our broken one, works great. Reasonably priced.

No more over suction or trying to manipulate the hose when vacuuming. This was a must have and it is great!

Our skimmer basket is model SP-1070. The manual for Skim Vac 1107 indicates that it fits this basket but it does not - the plate is slightly too small and does not cover the lip of the basket. It looks like Skim Vac 11063 is the correct part for our basket. Hayward, why is your user's manual incorrect?

Because of the lack of a gasket the vacuum plate allows air into the system defeating the entire vacuum process. No matter how I tried to position the thing it didn't allow any suction through to the vacuum head. Spread all the dead algae that I had just killed and had resting on the bottom ready to go to waste throughout the pool.....not happy

Product did exactly what is was intended for. Worked perfectly for my needs
