Finally! A Blood Pressure Monitor That WON'T Raise Your Blood Pressure Trying to Use It
Like many people trying to monitor their vitals at home I started with a wrist monitor. O never liked it - not even a little. It fit my large wrist but the readings were all over the map.A few days ago I didn't feel good at all and suspected it was my BP so I broke out my meter and almost stroked out right there. 220/120. I was afraid to move a muscle. I checked the batteries, verified the position and tried again. 110/60. So in a span of 5 minutes I got reading saying I should be dead or was dying. I tried several more times and concluded that my BP was high but I had no idea how high, and after about ten minutes of trying to get a consistent reading I pulled it off and threw it in the trash. Then I became furious. My choices were to assume the BP readings were false or spend $900 at the ER to have it checked. How and why are companies allowed to pedal such junk to consumers with health issues. I got angry just thinking about it.A quick search here showed this model with 5 stars so I gave it a try. Instructions are easy to understand and that's if you need them. It goes together very easy and there's just one big button to push to get a reading.I compared it against a medical grade unit and it was right on the money, and consistent! If you need to monitor your BP the decision over which one to buy is simple - buy this one.I told my doctor that I had used a wrist unit but did not trust the numbers. He didn't even ask me what they were and said throw it in n the trash. This unit is amazing. I'm not sure how well it will last but for the price this sells for you can toss it and buy another one later. The digits are very big, easy to see, and it returns the results to the screen by voice.I'm not joking when I say the wrist model cranked my BP higher. It was easy to use but worthless because readings were inconsistent and inaccurate. I needed an answer right then and all I could get was garbage. This one checks all of the boxes.I have large arms and was concerned that it may not fit but that wasn't the case. It fits large arms well

It's great for an at-home device
I would recommend this for at home care. We often tell our patients to get cuffs for monitoring blood pressures. On multiple checks today -checked against a Manuel and hospital Automatic cuff- we got consistently similar values with a degree of variation neglable in the systolic and better accuracy with diastolic versus our in-hospital cuff. It is easy to set and was able to detect certain arrhythmias (confirmed by ecg) during the time it was used today. The volume is adequate and clear. I prefer a step-down pressure release automatic cuff but this one is more than suitable for use if you are on blood pressure monitoring. The information supplied in the Manuel and instructions for use are informative and mostly accurate. My words to the wise are to not use the chart supplied to diagnose your blood pressures but as a tool to take to your doctor for concerns you may have. The chart is slightly inaccurate as hypertension and hypotension are based on many factors including systolic and/OR diastolic pressures being abnormal. Either way, it is a great tool to have and I would (and do) recommend.

Accurate and super-easy to use.
I've only had this monitor a few days, but as far as I can tell so far, it will certainly do the job it's intended to do. I've compared readings with two older series 10 Omrons, and an Omron wrist monitor. All readings are about the same, not exactly the same but I realize there is gonna be some minor differences. If you really take your time and position the cuffs right, there is negligible differences among them. The wrist monitor is the one you really have to pay attention to setting up, and even it compares favorable with this monitor. It's a good machine and well worth the money. It is super easy use. I like the averaging ability.I did shut off the voice; I can read it as well as she can and I use less battery.

impressive blood pressure monitor for its price!
The media could not be loaded. I'm in late 40's and I have high blood pressure, which runs in my family. I started taking medication every day and my doctor told me to keep my eye on it on regular basis.I used to have OMRON blood pressure monitor, which was very expensive but I ended up giving it to my dad, who also has high blood pressure, because he needed it more than I do since he's much older and has higher risk than me.I bought this because it has all the similar feature as the one that I used to have but at a fraction of the cost.WHAT I LIKE:[+] It comes with everything you need, including the batteries, storage case, and USB cable. You can use this without the battery by plugging in the USB cable to AC wall adapter or portable charger.[+] Easy to read, large and clean LCD screen.[+] It can track 2 people's measurement history with up to 120 historical measurements for each person and you can easily scroll through to view them.[+] Simple one button to start the measurement and it also measures the heartbeat.[+] Accurate blood pressure measurement .[+] Voice broadcast that is very clear and easy to understand.WHAT I DON'T LIKE:[-] It would have been nice to include the AC wall adapter but this is not a big deal as most people now have AC wall adapter for USB cable at home.BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. This is such a great blood pressure monitor that has all the bells and whistles at such a bargain price. Very impressive, accurate and easy to use. Can't get any better than this.PLEASE NOTE: There's incorrect product description. This blood pressure monitor needs 3 AA batteries, not 4, but it doesn't matter because 3 AA batteries are included so you can use it right away.
