will this work on a pool with 20,000 gallons capacity?

Yes. My pool holds 20,000 gallons and this machine works perfectly. A true timesaver.

Can you use the ultra fine filters on this model? I notice it is standard on the Triton model, but it looks like the same configuration as this model.

Is this all set to use when you get it?

yes, plug it in and turn it on. it works great! I haven't messed with the schedule set up yet but it states you can pick days and it will auto clean

How long is a cycle. Does it just shut down when the cycle is done or do we have to watch it and take it out when the pool is clean?

The clean cycle is about 2 hours. After this the robot just stops where it is. No need to watch it. I take mine out of the pool when it is done, but I think its ok if you leave it in. I say this, because it has the ability to schedule over a couple of days.
