(Small) - Nautical Cove Treasure Chest Keepsake and Jewellery Box Wood - Toy Treasure Box

This is an adorable box. It's nice and sturdy. I knew it would be smaller, but I was pleasantly surprised at the size and how much this box will actually hold. I was astonished at how well-made this box is, it's much better than I had anticipated. The card inside says it was hand-made and I believe it was. I had originally bought the box to use for a prop in photographs, but now it's going to hold things on my desk. The locking mechanism works like a charm. I purchased the suggested little lock and key. They match perfectly and work well. I'm not sure how well the lock would actually keep anyone out of the box, but I did not buy this box for that so it's not something I am worried about. This box would be a great part for a special gift or a themed gathering. I will definitely be back to buy a bigger one!

Getting creative? This little chest is perfect for all kinds of birthday, surprise, or keepsake gifts. I'm using this one as a surprise treasure chest during a vacation at the beach -- meant for sand and souvenir seashells. The wood finish and metal work are admirable. Good hinges and it could even take a tiny lock (diary size) or chord on the front. All in all, worth the price.

The stain is really nice in person, and the finish gives it that old, vintage look even though it’s brand new. The metal accents and the curved lid make it feel like a little treasure chest. It’s solid, well‑made, and looks great sitting out on a shelf. Definitely worth it if you want something that feels antique without the wear and tear.
