Works great for a messy chin! She likes to sort through the hay on offer. The solid back on the outside wall of the cage helps keep hay INSIDE while she selects the perfect piece to munch!

I would give this 5 stars, but there were some dents and paint defects, so I "dinged" the stars to reflect the imperfections. Other than the small things just mentioned, this is a well made hay rack. I love the sturdiness and the size. I was worried that bunny would chew at the metal, but it's been a couple months and that hasn't been an issue. The rack holds a good amount of hay, and is very easy to use. I like to load a bit of heavier/coarse Timothy hay or orchard grass at the bottom, and then top it off with a softer looser version, like 2nd cut Timothy hay. I would buy this again if I needed another one. *one new drawback, the rack is too big and sturdy to hang in our new rabbit hutch... not a problem though! I'm using it on the outside of hutch in the open rabbit run area. Works great and bunny loves it!

I really like this feeder for my guinea pigs. Their diet calls for an unlimited supply of quality timothy hay. The collapsable feeders are far too small for guinea pigs as they go through it very quickly. This feeder though is perfect for a few days worth of hay. This is advertised for rabbits too and I would disagree with this. Much like how most things targeted for guinea pigs is far too small for guinea pigs, most things targeted for rabbits is far too small for rabbits. If you need a rabbit feeder just take a small box, cut off one side, and stuff it full of hay and leave it out. Don't use this feeder for a rabbit. They should have an unlimited supply of hay available to them and this probably won't last a day for them.

My rabbits eat more hay in this than in a dish. Works perfectly on my lattice wall.

This has been helpful at keeping hey contained for our rabbit. My only issue was that it was Slow at shipping

Nicely made product. Wish it would have worked for my bunnies but they were able to flip it off the cage and I was afraid they would get hurt. Holds a good amount of hay and fairly priced. Good construction just didn’t work for me

I ordered this hay feeder for my Grandbunny that I was bunny sitting. He's quite the destructor in that he chews absolutely everything... This is a nice, durable, chew proof feeder. It is the perfect size for a medium sized dog crate which is where the bunny stays at Grandma's house.
