I don't usually write reviews, but I do read them so I thought I would write this one to give you my opinion on size. I needed a boys black leather vest fast for Halloween. This vest was available in a size medium via prime shipping. It arrive on time and perfectly packaged. I agree with all the other reviews, it is short. My son is a small, skinny, 54 pound, 51" tall 9 year old and the size M fit him fine. It looked really small, but when he tried it on it fit with snaps closed. It was a tad bit too short (came just above his waist), but perfect for his Halloween costume. It is a nice lightweight leather and for me that was just fine.

I bought this vest for my 8 yr old nephew. I even ordered a size up from what I thought for sure would fit him because, well, we all know how it goes when buying clothing online. Boy, I should have listened to the comments. The product is so so small that there is no way that my nephew would EVER be able to fit into it. Do not believe the sizing chart.

Wayyyy too small!!! Bought a medium for my 6 year old and it may have fit him when he was 2. Don't waste your money!!!

Second attempt to buy this vest. Should have known better. It definitely is not by the size chart. Way too short. I got an XL for my 8 year old. He will be wearing a black t shirt under it which will help, but still disappointed.

Short, short, short! This is a HALF vest.

Runs very small, almost toddler sizes. Not big enough for youth ages 8-12

Bought a size medium for a 7YO, skinny side of 50 lbs, and pretty tall for his age. I wish it were a few inches longer or labeled as a cropped vest but I am up against the wire and the price was good for something he will only wear a couple of times.

This was way too short waisted on my child and did not look like the photo. It was decent quality leather although thin but the snaps were to heavy for the leather and I worry how well they will hold up. Its probably going back which is a shame because we were really excited about it.
