I've been searching for a natural sunscreen that doesn't feel like a mineral sunscreen for some time. Coola is one of the best options I've come across, as it's not greasy and blends fairly well. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin (other mineral sunscreens make me want to wipe them off the second I put them on). It doesn't leave a noticable white film when my skin is dry, but it turns white as soon as I get wet or start to sweat. It also rubs off white on cloths, especially darker colors. The unscented version smells like sunscreen, but that doesn't usually bother me.Overall this is a good option if you're commited to a mineral sunscreen.

Unfortunately, I have such sensitive skin that any other sunblock I've ever tried makes me break out. But fortunately, there's Coola, which I discovered years ago and never stopped using. I live in Phoenix, Arizona where the sun is relentless, so sunblock is absolutely necessary, as is a big hat. I use this product for my arms and legs and the product made for the face for my face and neck. No rashes, no blotchy skin...and no sunburn. Coola was made for me.

Pros: Nice texture, feels comfortable on my skin, no odorCons: Not sweat or water resistant, stings and burns when it get into your eyes...which it will if your face gets wet whether it's from sweat, rain, the ocean or the pool. Your face doesn't even have to be fully wet - sea spray, misty rain and the next thing you know, your eyes will be burning.

This is a really good sunscreen with great ingridients and it is much better than other thick sunscreens I have tried. It seems if the sunscreen is chemical free it has to be unnaturally thick. This one is better than others, but is still pretty thick and requires a lot to really cover an area.
